  2. Sorry Adam, I've been waiting but we gotta get this in gear. I don't expect much with Whitehair and Montgomery out this week. Things will only be tougher on Fields in the passing game and without Montgomery this week we'll struggle again to get the tough yards (3rd and short) where Herbert struggles. However the Vikings, despite being 3-1, are bottom third in both pass and run defense so they don't appear to be as good as they were in years past. They are also going through a transition to a new scheme under our former coach Ed Donatell. Just like us there are likely some growing pains. On offense they are 21st in rushing yards, but 12th in pa…

  3. The Bears have done another good job at creating excitement for this seasons team. The retooled defense will have a different look for sure. The offense will be a wait and see as they made some major moves too. I like to walk the edge with my player picks: Defense Deiondre Hall DB - this guy has good length, high football IQ, and does what it takes in run or pass. I do not see him getting much time to showcase his game early on unless there are injuries. His skill set will compliment Fuller well since he w is great against the run. Donatell will do good grooming Hall and I think he will be a name we watch making plays on Sundays. Offense Eddie Royal WR- …

Maybe the real question isn't that Jay yelled...but who should he have yelled at? Webb is a talentless hack. Shouldn't Tice have 1. known that going in 2. if he didn't see it going in, shouldn't he have adjusted for it? I get yelling at Webb. As I've mentioned in other posts, the guy seems to check out mentally. H'es like the kid playing soccer picking at the lawn instead of paying attention to the game. And for some mental lapses, he does deserve to get get called out. But he's such a Baby Huey that isn't that really Tice's failure? Between the horrific game planning (no 1st down runs, no short passes, no screens, no helping Webb) and no adjustme…

We the Bears are missing a player here and there to make it back to the SuperBowl. I for one would sign Moss since he says that he doesn't need to be the NO #1 WR. If we could sign Jackson or Bowe, sign Moss and then draft Floyd........Cutler will have an orgasim!! Not to mention how other teams defenses will have nightmares on how to stop the Bears passing game with these three plus Hester and Bennett & Knox. Maybe Tice can talk him into coming here! http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill Randy Moss says he’s “coming to tear somebody’s heads off, man” Posted by Mike Florio on February 13, 2012, 11:29 PM EST ReutersIn 1998, …

http://www.denverpost.com/broncos/ci_29553...t-malik-jackson There is no way I want to pay this guy $10mil/yr for 5 years. 45 tackles combined and just 5 sacks considering the outstanding outside pressure he had forcing QBs to step up in the pocket. Especially not when the DT talent in this draft is so good throughout the first two rounds. If that's the Bronco's offer then we'd have to go well above that to get him to sign since his preference is to stay in Denver. Elway knows keeping that defense together is the only way they'll get back. But still that's getting crazy IMO and he's probably got to pay Von Miller $17-20mil/yr.

  10. Bears are currently 6.5 dogs in Las Vegas. The line seems about right unless you watched MNF. The Raiders looked terrible with only 213 yards on offense, most coming on 2x TD drives (159 yds) in the 3rd quarter. For the other 3 quarters, nothing. They looked like the Bears playing the Browns. Their first 7 drives (the entire first half) consisted of the following: 3 and out, punt 3 and out, punt 3 and out, punt 4 and out, turnover on downs 6 plays, punt 3 and out, punt 2 plays, end of half 26 total yards in the first half, down 21-0 On their only first down in the first half, a 21 yard gain to Waller, Waller got a 15-yard penalty for taunting lol. …

--well the line looks a little better, but that aint saying much --I get that its a practice game so I wont jump all over martz' ass cause he might want to get a look at things on film, but if he is still calling a 2 to 1 pass to run ratio when the season starts, he needs to be held accountable. --The defense looks like they have no energy. The outside linebackers have not held leverage all night and look like crap. --They should just shoot chester taylor now. -- Roy Williams is a joke. I hate that guy already. What an insult to the rest of the team, come in out of shape and drops the damn ball. --WTF is up with the special teams. The c…

I realize that we've already past the trade deadline, but I think its time to take a look at the future of this Bears team. One of the first names that comes to my mind is the wiley veteran, Olin Kreutz. Should we start to go another direction as we work on rebuilding our line? Could he be able to help us land an extra 3rd round pick in a trade? Would Josh Beekman (the so called guy grooming for the job) be a solid center. Essentially, should we trade Kreutz in the off-season for a 3rd or 4th pick, move Beekman to Center and than spend the money saved (plus whats in our coffers) for a big time tackle (or just find a real good RT if we think Williams can pla…

Well, this guy has shown that he can tackle. However, he is FAAAR from replacing Vasher in the lineup. The dude has no ball skills and cannot make the simplest of interceptions. Ryan made several looping throws that should have been easily picked off if the CB made a better adjustment to the ball. It was very frustrating to watch. We need our boys back. As much as we've been hearing from Lovie about our backup CBs, these dudes didn't impress at all.

Reading some of the articles before, during, and after the competition the same thing keeps jumping out at me. -Which guy will best manage the offense -which guy is the safest choice -which guy is less likely to turn the ball over -which guy will make the fewest mistakes -which guy presents the lowest risk What we are really doing is playing not to lose and from that perspective which guy fits that bill. The staff knows our offense is crap, our line is crap, our receivers would at best be backups on most rosters, our QB's would likely be backups elsewhere (making it a competition to see which backup quality QB should be our starter). The only offensive…

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...-jordan-palmer/ So with the third QB having a break in his hand the Bears signed a new QB in Jordan Palmer. Do you think this is a good signing or should we have signed someone else?
