For a Packer and Favre hater, nothing I could have ever dreamed up could be better than this. Packer nation is divided and they're tearing each other up. Favre's "will he - won't he" routine has Bears fans everywhere smiling. Frankly, you couldn't write this script any better. The Packers couldn't have handled this more poorly. From looking at this just released schedule we are going to have another good year I'm thinking 11-5 again at least playing only seven teams with winning records and six playoff teams.. I have mentioned my opinion on players on other posts, but might as well put it all in one spot. offense: QB Cutler, he is who he is, a 15-20 rated QB prone to TOs. I think the only reason he will be around is because there is not much in options. Fales, anybody here think he is a future star? Per the rumor mill at ESPN.com John Clayton is reporting that the Bears amongst other teams may have interest in Julius Jones. Jones, widely considered the top running back left on the free-agent market, has visited Detroit, Tennessee and Seattle. He's also considering trips to CHICAGO and Philadelphia, according to Clayton. With starting running back Kevin Jones coming off knee surgery, the Lions are looking for insurance at the position. The Seahawks might be looking to phase out Shaun Alexander and feature a running back duo of Jones and T.J. Duckett, who was signed recently. In four seasons with Dallas, Jones rushed for 3,484 yards on 885 carries.

Trubisky listed on injury report with a right shoulder injury. Hopefully he is okay / injury is minor. Evidently it happened after the late hit near the end of the game. He joins Lynch and Shaheen on the injury report as the two of them are both in concussion protocol. Given the short week, I presume there is a good chance Shaheen/Lynch are out this week. Hopefully everything is good with Mitch!

So, now that we see a window of hope opening up, and with Nagy and Pace still scrambling to secure their jobs past whatever bubble they've created from this draft, it might be time to add some quality free agents to put us in the hunt. And there are quite a few good names still available, and since the cap shrunk, they will likely be lowish money short term deals. Especially at EDGE, DB, and OL I just saw this, and a lot of these players could really help. Add two, and we are looking kind of dangerous.

So apparently Madden 12 is going to have a new feature called Dynamic Player Performance: it's basically confidence/streakiness built into the game. A QB's confidence goes down if he gets sacked or picked off enough times, and he performs worse on subsequent throws.
