I am very excited to see that we signed him as an undrafted free agent and even though his speed is put into question, id rather have a guy that can play football with a very high level of intelligence rather than have someone who is just out there to run. His stats look phenomenal and am looking forward to monitoring his progression.

1. Devin Hester is a true reciever. He had several big plays today and looked the part like never before. Lets hope this continues. 2. Mike martz can adjust a game plan. His changing up the game plan was masterfull. Knowing his line was in trouble he took it out of the lines hands started the quick passing game that did not require a lineman to hold his block. Absolutely Genius. I say Genius because I never seen it from a Team in chicago before. Great win. No last minute blow ups. Truely a coaching win.

Was listening a little to the "Herd" this morning. And of course Trent Dilfer made an appearance. (Colin is a big fan). They got to discussing the Bears. First thing Colin said is he thought the Bears were a "fraud". Asked Dilfer what he thought. Dilfer's reply was basically that he didn't believe in them. He did make one note that I found ironic. He felt the only real way that the Bears could even hope to make it into and through the playoffs (let alone Super Bowl) were if the Defense began to play off the chart. I decided to start a thread where we can discuss everyone's fantasy about what Kevin White brings to the Bears offense.The reason why I used the word fantasy is because he is being projected into a role that he has yet to to actually perform in. Projection, prediction and fantasy are all similar terms when it comes to sports(imo). When the Bears picked White I was extremely happy as much as I was when Jeffrey was drafted in the second round. Decided to really focus on him tonight and I'm not overly impressed. Doesn't run hard all the time and seems to be coming out on 3rd down, which I don't get if he's a top pick.

I have seen several draft trade scenarios and was going to give a post to list them. Everybody has viewed the trade for Wilkinson option. (which we wont be bringing in a 15 mil player) (not Paces style) Here is one I seen on ESPN; 5. Jaguars trade 1-5, Luke Joeckel to Bears for 1-11, 2-41, 4-104. It's been well documented that we made three 4th round picks without choosing Dak. My question is this: if we would have chosen him, how would the world see him now?

From the Tribune: Silver lining: Saturday's loss at least temporary pushed the 3-12 Bears up to No. 3 in the draft order for April. Because of strength-of-schedule tiebreakers, the Bears will pick behind the 49ers (2-11) and Browns (1-13). With one week left in the season, the Bears can't move any higher on the draft board. With a win next week over the Vikings, they could drop as low as No. 6 depending on what the Jaguars, Jets and Rams do and how their respective schedule strengths sort out. Peace
