Last year I tried a mock where everyone agreed. Likes/Dislikes were laid out until we got something everyone could accept. It may not have been everyone's ideal draft, but it was something we'd all be happy with. I'd like to try that again. The Rules: -Please don't post your own mock. I'm excited to see what the kid has. Sometimes it takes a few years for a QB to develop, maybe after a few years on the bench he evolved. I just hope he doesn't get hurt with Ola, Groy, and Garza in the middle.

OK. The Fields thread is killing me. This thread is for the rookie QBs. If your argument is that we should keep Fields, that's cool, but this thread isn't for that scenario. With the Bears having the ability to essentially outbid everyone, who would be the top players you would like to see added in the offseason. For me, it would be Da'Ron Payne, DT, Orlando Brown Jr., OT, Jamel Dean, CB, with Mike Gesicki, TE as an Honorable Mention. That would add basically 4 top level players to the roster before Poles fills the rest in with some mid-level deals and vet mins before the draft. I figure other guys like Pocic (Center), an Edge and LB will also be in play. I could also see them signing two new DTs. However, I will go with these 4 today. Its almost that time of year again so I figured I would start gauging interest for fantasy football. We have our Talkbears keeper league with I believe 9 returning and 1 spot available. I want to get confirmation from everyone in the league before we let new people join. We will also have free leagues for anyone wishing to play. Didn't know where to put this. I heard Jarrett, Dexter, Sweat, and Booker are working out together in Florida with a pass rush specialist.( Didn't see his name mentioned.) Clearly Jarrett had to have a lead role in putting this together. I thought this shows a leadership position getting players together. Cutler is on a current run of solid play that is longer than any other time in his career. Everyone always talks to Cutler's inconsistency or the Good Jay Bad Jay, etc. Looking over his Game Logs, you can see that was indeed the case for most of his early career. However, it looks like we have entered a new era and the sample size is large enough to believe it will continue. Starting in the Arizona game, he now has 6 straight games with a QB Rating above 88, and even excluding the partial game, he has 5 straight games with a QB Rating of 88.4 or higher. 2022 is going to be a major transitional year for the team. We will part ways with close to half of the team. Something else to make the off season interesting is that we'll have to, once again, rely on free agency to field a team. Of course, let's start with the offense. Mooney is the only receiver on the 53 man roster under contract for next year. My thoughts are to draft this position as high as possible. This player must be a true number 1. Evidently they already have some offers but are working hard to maximize and get more in return. I've said it before and I'll say again, he'll be gone and we'll get more than we expected for him. There is zero QB market out there and it is a weaker QB draft (that said, Its all a freaking crapshoot anyway when it comes to QB's, imo).

I know it has been awhile for me to post, But I have a perdicament that is bothering me. At the end of last season Orton was Qb'ing the Bears, He was 2-1 as starter and the team averaged well over 25 points game. To me the team played a lot better with him in then both Rex and griese combined. Here I been reading almost all the posts of the upcomming season and most have Rex ahead Orton. Is there something you guys read somewhere or what?

We have the edge in every offensive category except rushing yards per game. STL is horrible at 3rd Downs, which is our weakness on defense. This would be a great game to clean that up. On the defensive side, they have the edge in every category, though I was surprised at how close we were against the pass and in total yards. I would love to see Langford split out wide from the backfield to get some mismatches against LB's. He just outdueled Gordon, now let's do it to Gurley. Bears 20 - Rams 16
