With Tait's retirement looming, we are looking at approx 32 million to use in free agency. That number could increase if some cuts are made. Another scenario that makes this money huge is that we have no big name FA's to re-sign. I have big on re-signing St. Clair. I'm no longer on the bandwagon for signing him no matter what. If he can't be had for a decent price before FA begins, it's time to roll the dice. Who I like: Khalif Barnes. He had a down year, but didn't all the Jags. He's young and has shown his talent. He's the best remaining OT out there and provides us great flexibilty. Next up is the WR's. Gotta go Houshmandzadeh here. Orton needs a #1…

Since we lost Urlacher, Roach and Hayes and gained Williams and Anderson and maybe another in the draft or FA are we better or the same at our LB core? Williams Anderson http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=playe...p;v=B_RVGbhGcvk

Looks like Jones will be active again. I'm sure Bears88 will be happy. Peace http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2008/12/ha...fe_34.html#more

Bruce Smith, Rod Woodson, Randall McDaniel, Bob Hayes, Derrick Thomas and Ralph Wilson were elected to the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday.

Chargers are shopping Kaseem Osgood/WR - 28- 6 year pro. He must have some limitations but is a big guy 6' 5" 220 and has been all pro as a special teamer for the last few years. There are several good receivers in SD and he wants playing time. They are looking for a low round draft pick.

He had a great game catching the ball and the blocking was very good for him (over 100 yds in receiving). The offense did do a very good job on screens tonight. I saw great blocking from Kruetz. Garza, and Bennett. Peace

first and foremost I need Webb to look like a starting LT on the tube.

If you ever get a chance to watch this kid he is the next Megatron WR. He is an absolute beast and he is a Junior which leads me to believe that he should be a top pick in next years draft.

Who starts?? Do we start flip[-flopping Manning again?? Do we go with the rookie "Steltz Bomber"?? Do we use our recently signed 40+ veteran Holt???

So I totally forgot about the 3rd WC slot (the same one the Bears slipped into last year). The difference this year is the 17th game. The extra game for the Bears was LVR, for the Vikings, it's the LAC. That extra game may end up being the difference in making the playoffs or not this year. At this point, if the Bears can survive to the bye, with TB, SF at home, and PIT (MNF) in the next 3, they have a much more favorable schedule down the stretch. They have to win one, but two puts their odds of making the playoffs very high. If you consider TB a loss (3-4), then SF a win (at home) - SF plays SNF against IND at home. With a loss against the Colts, they could co…

Per NFL Network the suspension is for an indefinite amount of time.

This mock by far has got me the most excited. Sure we missed on Oline, but defensively this would be a great building block. I would be happy with this outcome. 1-7 Amari Cooper WR - Hands down the safest 1000yd/yr capable prospect 2-39 Landon Collins SS- Marked as the best S in the draft but he is a tweener FS/SS. 3-71 Xavier Cooper DE/DT- Projects as a 3-4 DE, which after McDonald, Jenkins, and maybe Houston theres not much depth. 4-106 Marcus Golden OLB- pass rushing talent to step in 2016 5-142 Durrell Eskridge FS-big physical FS who could step in 6-183 Ladarious Gunter CB- nice size and speed to develop

The saints just cut pro bowl guard Larry Warford. He was making 7 mil a year. IFEDI is here on a 1 yr deal so he definitely an upgrade. Let IFEDI battle for RG or you can have him be the swing OT. You probably get Larry for 1 yr 4 mil? I also read the bears are talking to him.

This should be fun. Caleb Williams needs to grow the F up. He showed me too many plays yesterday that showed prophetic to his draft critics. For starters, his head clock is killing him. His feet get happy too soon and inaccuracy follows. I don't see him as the guy that's willing to take the extra millisecond and take a hit. If he is willing, the flight mechanism is overriding his intent. You could clearly see that, especially the sidearm throw to DJ in the end zone. He saw it and nuked the throw in a rush. Cooler QB's loft it out there. Situational awareness needs to be a huge trait of a QB. Caleb showed me several times that he doesn't get it. He cos…

Could this really happen? http://walterfootball.com/draft2016.php RD1: EVERYONE is available! Super exciting! RD2: Passing on two Clemson studs for a guy who might not fit. RD3: Passing on a Clemson stud for... RD4: Oh, noooow we get an ILB?

I thought I read someone post about the Bears putting in a bid to buy the Arlington International Racecourse as a possible location to build a new stadium but I don't see it. I'm sure most if not all of you are aware of the story. There are some fans upset saying that they don't want the Bears renamed the Arlington Heights Bears.???? I don't understand where they are coming from. The Dallas Cowboys Stadium is located in Arlington, Texas, and they remain the DALLAS Cowboys, not the Arlington Cowboys. I'm sure there are other examples. I see no reason to believe the Bears would change their name. Agree?

May miss the rest of the season - ugh!!!! The kid really stepped up. Let's hope he can come back sometime this season. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....ary-bowman.html Peace
