This was a great win for us, one that the team can really build upon. Offense moved the ball well at times but penalties killed us too often. Despite all the negative plays Cutler kept his focus an stayed within the game plan. Same goes for Gase who didn't fall into the trap of abandoning the run despite the Packers focus on stopping it. Since we have picked up a few FA do we draft for needs or for the BPA. I see needs as being at TE, (loss Bennett) and RB (loss Forte) CB/SS/FS ours are not really that great. Maybe LT if we feel Leno isn't the best option and maybe a DL. But surely we need to draft GAME CHANGERS not just BPA. K.Drake in the later rounds would be nice as he can do alot with his speed at RB/WR/KR. But I do feel that we should try to fill the production that we have lost and so do the staff....that's why we went after Anderson(RB) and Hill(TE)...so look for those to be two sspots we are going to draft a player.

This was on the Bears' website a few days ago. We can't know if he'll succeed but we can at least feel good knowing that Trubisky is not going the route of Cade and Rex. Neither of them wanted to put the time in nor had the dedication needed to become a good QB in the NFL. I suspect some of his conviction to get the playbook down this quickly comes from when he hit the bench in 2015. He'll wait his turn this year but not without a fight. With a night a sleep, looking back at the game on Game Pass, here were my observations: 1. The team should've been more prepared with 11 DAYS to prep for Minnesota. This is on Fox. Game plan for the most part was crap, this is on Loggains. Very predictable. Outside of the trick play for 2pt conversion and fake punt, not much to like. Don't get me started on the penalties. 1. The defense was borderline dominant, led by Hicks, Fuller, and Amos. Jackson, Trevathan, and Callahan also had great games. Literally, the only knock on the defense was Jones, who seemed lost for a bunch of plays (which is somewhat understandable considering his play time). Defense looked much better with Trevathan back. Amos' play is going to make us forget we have Demps. If he can keep it up, we all of a sudden have a great Safety duo in Amos and Jackson. God I hate this time f the year

Something tells me that if they don't turn it around and real quick Singletary will be looking for a new job at the end of the year. 49ers were supposed to finally leap frog in that division and win it for the 1st time in a long time. I am also starting to wonder if he regrets letting Martz go after the '08 season. It is pretty bad when at this point the Rams look 10 times better than his 49ers. Do the players care? Is Singletary just not a good motivator?

Looking at all these NFC teams hovering around 7-3 is making me nervous, thinking that if we don't win our division, we have a good chance of missing the playoffs entirely. I hope this doesn't end up like the Patriots a few years ago when they went 11-5 and missed the playoffs. The Packers are looking invincible now, even with their injuries, that makes the final game of the season probably the determining factor on who makes the playoffs and who stays home. This makes the Eagles game a MUST win, and beating one of the Jets, Patriots, or Packers is a MUST as well. If we don't go atleast 4-2 in our last 6 games, we might be in trouble.
