Per Jeff Dickerson from ESPN AM 1000 reports Carimi placed on IR.

nice play call in 1st and goal.... f'ing asshole

hope Matty is ok and no longterm effect. But Hanie is F'ing awful

Hanie, Jennings, Webb and JA. I cannot believe how pathetic this team looked in the second half. They packed it up and are ready for the off season. Hanie and Jennings should not play another down. Peace

I say we draft a LT in first round and CB in second. MLB to groove for Urlackers replacement in the third Defensively we get Avril/DE/Lions Offense Ben Grubbs/OG/Ravens-will have to pay Fred Davis/TE/Redskins-better qb for better option Stevie Johnson/WR/Bills- Buffalo sucks Kyle Orton/backup QB Offense LT-new guy LG-Grubbs OC-Garza RG-Spencer RT- Carimi TE- Fred Davis WR-Johnson-Bennett

@mullyhanley: Mully is reporting that Bob Bostad will be the #Bears new OLine coach.

How about this plan: Trade our first round pick to the Giants for Osi and their first rounder. Then sign Mike Wallace to a heavily front loaded deal, and surrender our new first (32nd overall) to the Steelers. We get one of the top young receovers in the game, and add a legitimate pass rushing threat opposite Peppers.

I keep hearing about him trying LT again. Personally, I think he has the tools to succeed, but hasn't had too much of a shot. Play pro's and con's, coming into his fourth year, he hasn't stayed too healthy. On the plus side, he's smart, has quick feet and pedigree. I want the Carimi to the left talk to stop. He is a prototypical right tackle. Plus, he makes a nasty companion to our nasty RG Louis. Just sayin', give the kid a shot. Make Webb the swing tackle and draft a nasty G and C. One to start, one to groom.

http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?STORY_ID=8716 McShay sees Bears drafting Stanford tackle By: Larry Mayer | Last Updated: 4/2/2012 9:23 AM In his latest mock draft, ESPN analyst Todd McShay is predicting that the Bears will select Stanford offensive tackle Jonathan Martin with the 19th pick in the first round. Jonathan Martin “Martin needs to add some strength, but he could pair with 2011 first-round OT Gabe Carimi to give offensive coordinator Mike Tice a pair of bookends to coach up,” McShay writes. McShay also believes that the Bears will choose Clemson tight end Dwayne Allen in the second round (50th overall). The Bears…

Some hate him, some love him, I think he could be a late round steal. ESPN has a new article on him that might change minds.

Matt Reynolds of BYU. I watched play and guy is just a monster. He was by far their most talented lineman I watched play a few times

I dont understand why Cutler and Marshall are blowing smoke up Hesters ass. He will just be a special play guy, not even going to be on the field 33% of offensive snaps, but everybody is lauding him. I dont get it. Marshall pretty well wont be leaving the field, Bennett and Jeffery will be the primary Wrs on the field and then Hester. We will see more two TE sets . Where is all the snaps for Hester. There is a reason he hasnt stood out as a WR since he got here, and I dont see him being special now. A PACKAGE PLAYER, sure he can get some plays, but dont see him geting more than 35 catches in his new row. What say you.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/category/rumor-mill/ Now that was not too bright if you wanted to stay on this team....but I guess you have to do what you have to do

Hey, a football game! Something new to talk about!

Sports Mockery is reporting that sources tell them that Nagy is going hard after Dave Toub to be his special teams coordinator. If he lands both Fangio and Toub as his coordinators that would be unbelievable.

49ers, Jimmy Garoppolo agree to five-year deal Posted by Michael David Smith on February 8, 2018, 1:36 PM EST Getty Images The 49ers have their franchise quarterback locked up for years to come. Jimmy Garoppolo has agreed to a five-year deal with the 49ers, according to multiple reports. The full numbers aren’t out yet, but Mike Garafolo of NFL Network reports that the total value is $137.5 million, which would make it just a bit better than the five-year, $135 million deal Matthew Stafford got from the Lions last year. At $27.5 million a year it’s the biggest per-year average on a long-term contract in NFL history, although there’s no word on how much …
