  1. Listening to ESPN radio Chicago a caller told Waddle and Silvy that he has a friend working security at HH and also Adam Schefter has tweeted that the Bears have interest in Weis.

Having this high of a pick for the Bears is new territory we havent visited in along time. In viewing dozens of mock drafts and player ratings several names keep recurring. these 4 are in every article: Winston Mariota Gregory Williams we will never see these for names at #7. Amari Cooper-Shane Ray-Brandon Scherff-Danny Shelton the next 4 most common names to show up: Our pick will come from these 4 names There is merit to select each of these 4 as pertaining to our #7 pick I think with Fox, Pace,Fangio they …

One of our biggest needs are at safety. McCourty is the top rated and will go for 8-10 mil a year. From what I have read Moore will carry a 4-5 mil contract and another name I like is Searcy from Buffalo who will carry a 4-5 mil contract. So why not fix the safety position for years to come with 2 young upgrades instead of grabbing McCourty? I think someone already suggested this just couldnt find the thread it was in.

  4. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_/id/124...injury-concerns Tough decision Borland had to make and this will hurt the 49ers even more after Willis and Smith just retired. I respect his decision and hope he has no long term health affects. This will be another red flag on an issue that gets pushed aside in the NFL. I know it is not Bear related, but many of us here talked about this kid before the draft and his success his rookie year.

  5. Last year the offense was below average and the defense was horrible. Going into the draft it seems that anything right now is possible. I'm seeing DB, WR, DE, LB, S, everything possible. Since they're switching to a 3-4, it's difficult to know what any of the guys on the roster can/will do. -The number of potential OLB/ILB combos is borderline obscene. -I happen to think the front three will be figured out between Houston, Ferguson, Ratliff, Sutton, and Allen, especially since Ratliff has been specifically mentioned as being important in plans. -Still need plenty of defensive backfield help. With all that said, here's what Fox has done the last ten ye…

It's almost that time of year again, and like ever year, I ask what your nightmare draft would be. 1. Mariotta, QB, Oregon - I would hate a QB in the 1st. Additionally, I don't think he's going to pan out. I think he'll be average at best. This would destroy the locker room. 2. Gurley, RB, UGA - Injury prone RB to serve as a backup, and may not even beat out Carey for #2. I'd hate this because it would mean the current staff are moving from Forte. 3. Jaquiski Tartt, S, Samford - Saw him up close and personal. Never really stood out. Small school DB...smells like a Lovie pick. 4. Senquez Golson, CB, Miss - He's listed at 5'9", but I'm pretty sure he wa…

I read this on cnnsi and thought it interesting: I'm wondering why, on goal-line plays, coaches don't occasionally defend big receivers like Johnson with a big receiver from their own team? Doesn't somebody like Dez Bryant have a better chance of beating Johnson on a "jump ball" pass?'' Roy Williams cant do jack on O....maybe they could use him on D. Because the Lions will have goal line attempts Monday night for sure.

I say we draft a LT in first round and CB in second. MLB to groove for Urlackers replacement in the third Defensively we get Avril/DE/Lions Offense Ben Grubbs/OG/Ravens-will have to pay Fred Davis/TE/Redskins-better qb for better option Stevie Johnson/WR/Bills- Buffalo sucks Kyle Orton/backup QB Offense LT-new guy LG-Grubbs OC-Garza RG-Spencer RT- Carimi TE- Fred Davis WR-Johnson-Bennett

  20. How about this plan: Trade our first round pick to the Giants for Osi and their first rounder. Then sign Mike Wallace to a heavily front loaded deal, and surrender our new first (32nd overall) to the Steelers. We get one of the top young receovers in the game, and add a legitimate pass rushing threat opposite Peppers.
