Steelers at home only favored by 6.5 is shocking. That's only 3.5 pts on neutral field which means Vegas thinks this game will be closer than the SF game where the Bears were underdogs at home. There is a chance that Mack and Monty will be back. Borom now has a full week under his belt. I am not confident that the Bears can get a win outside of playing DET, NYG, and MIN. So this is probably a loss unless Fields takes another step in his development. The defense was literally a wet paper bag last week. If they are not better, it is going to be a long night. What do you guys think of the whole Jay Cutler nightlife fiasco that the media is currently playing out. I think the Chicago media (especially the papers) have no clue anymore. This is probably one of the biggest weeks were you can generate interest in your product by building up a buzz about the draft and prospects, but they failed to do so and instead make it out that it is "evil" to go out on your time and have a good time. No wonder they are losing out and eventually going to have to fold. Brad Biggs is reporting that Cutler's contract is written so that the Bears can convert portions of the contract to a bonus status, so that it can be spread out. Trib posted the article at 8:00PM tonight They are calling it a automatic conversion clause that allows the Bears to convert salary to bonus whenever they wish and it will be allocated over the contract years.

I remember when he first went out they said he had a strained thumb and then recently I heard someone say ligament damage. When is this guy going to be playing again? I don't see us being able to develop any of the talent with Barkley at QB. Peace

Unless we have a few miracles take place, we are on a downward path. Here's my plan for a quick turnaround. Fire Pace and replace him with Louis Riddick. I don't of many more football people I have been more impressed with. He's smart, knowledgeable, decisive, commanding and diverse. Give him full command to hire and fire at will. My choice would be that he hire someone like Dabo Sweeney to be HC. Also, beg Bill Polian to be president of your organization for two years and give him free reign. We know this going to be a two to three year change, so let's think 2 years ahead to start. Our defense is older, but incredibly talented. We have collateral there…

So who do you guys think are the winners and losers in this draft? To me, the Bears did well for themselves, but a couple of other teams did even better. Here are my picks. Best Drafts 1) Chiefs: oh man, they helped themselves a TON this year. Jon Baldwin gives them an explosive threat opposite Dwayne Bowe, and they're going to be able to throw all day in the red zone with those two plus Moeaki. Hudson was one of my favorite players in the draft: he'll be a great center. And their defense looks MILES better than last season. Houston and Tamba Hali are a scary pass-rush duo, plus Jerrell Powe and Allen Bailey add a lot of beef to their d-line rotation. 2)…
