Hi All, I have been watching NFL Access and some other shows here in blighty and references are made regarding Cincinnati's team and them looking like the could be quite strong as they are very talented... How are we going to do on Sunday?

The draftees will wear the following numbers, though some likely will change before the regular season: DL Jarron Gilbert (73), WR Juaquin Iglesias (17), DE Henry Melton (69), CB D.J. Moore (30), WR Johnny Knox (13), LB Marcus Freeman (58), S Al Afalava (46), G Lance Louis (60) and WR Derek Kinder (83). Undrafted free agents will wear the following numbers: FB Will Ta’ufo’ou (45o), S Dahna Deleston (45d), CB Woodny Turenne (47), RB Tyrell Fenroy (48), LB Mike Rivera (59), G Johan Asiata (62o), LB Kevin Malast (62d), G Dennis Conley (70) and WR Eric Peterman (86). ...told ya Freeman looked like Marshall and Afalava like Plank!

I haven't been on the Orton wagon, ever. The only positives I've seen from him were he isn't made of glass. His 2nd half last night reminded me of how bad he can play. However, over the course of this season, he actually seems to be improving. He almost seems to be moving towards being a middle of he pack to even proficient at times. If he continues to limit the mistakes and actually learn each week, I am thinking he may just work out. The big thing that leaps out at me at this point is time of possession. In recent years, our D wore thin quickly trying to play so many minutes.. Lately, it seems like we can actually put drives that eat the clock together and we have ha…

Interesting... Not really Bears related but so topical I thought it really belongs on the main page. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3585348 No decision has been made. Wonder if we could see a Tuesday night game? If postponed deeper into the season, how do you score fantasy games this weekend? Crazy.

As an undrafted free agent, Jones finished third on the team with 68 tackles. He also had 2 sacks. I believe he has earned a starting position next year. Thoughts? Peace

The Minnesota Vikings say receiver Sidney Rice has had hip surgery, a procedure that could keep the Pro Bowler out for the first half of the season or more.

http://www.suntimes.com/sports/football/be...ckout-ends.html Will JA be ready to pull the trigger on some of these guys? It will be interesting to see what the Bears get out of the feeding frenzy of free agency this year.

http://sports.yahoo.com/news/tom-brady-mak...-032756207.html First 4 games comparison: 2007 (during the deflate gate time span ) = 1,118 13TD's, 2 INT 2015 (12.5 psi balls being used) = 1,387, 11 TD's, 0 INT's Yes, screwing with the pressure of the ball is completely wrong. Not debating that, but what I said over and over when this happened was that Tom Brady will do what Tom Brady has always done with a 12.5 psi ball or a 11.5 psi ball or a 13.5 psi. The PSI of a ball doesn't matter, Tom Brady is one of the best if not thee best to ever play the game.

I got to thinking about how excited everyone was about the RB screen. It was successful, looked great, and had my jaw on the floor the entire game. I'm sure that every Bears' fan was pumped to see this play, one that has NEVER worked, be so successful. Here's the problem: it's a sign of the Bears' failure. Why does a RB screen usually succeed? The offensive gameplan is successful enough that the OL can almost toy with the DL. The DL rushes in, almost oblivious to their newfound success at getting to the QB. The RB and OL scoot through, set up things, and the RB screen is successful. Why is this a problem, you ask? The Niners' DL was so used to blasting throug…

http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...sod-time-season I'm not sure how many times we have gotten new sod, but as long as the Chicago Park District owns Soldier Field and allows other non-sporting events to take place there, it's useless as tits on a fish. The field has been in shit condition since they took the astroturf away. Ridliculous amount of money paid for sod. Paying for the synthetic would pay for it self after 2 go arounds with replacing the sod.

This team sucks in multiple areas, but has enough talent to surprise opponents. Several games were close. A few breaks here or there and this team is easily around .500. However, being around .500 every year is eventually what got Lovie fired. Nobody wants that again. So, the team needs to pull off a Herschel Walker trade IMO. But how much is too much? On the PFF Draft Simulator, I got the following: #2 for Detroit's #4, #18, #49 (2nd) #4 for Pittsburgh's #13, #33 (2nd), and a 2024 RD2 pick #13 for NYJet's #17, #48 (2nd) That's two 1st round picks and a whopping four 2nd round picks, not to mention the extra pick in 2024. This is t…

I realize many were disappointed when Gross and Carey re-signed, not to mention Starks getting tagged, but it seems like the pool of FA OL is not bad at all. I see quality at both OG and OT. PFW just came out w/ their list of top 100 FAs (though they include restricted and tagged players). I was surprised to see how many OL were on the list. Not only that, but we are seeing more veterans getting cut for cap reasons than expected, and they have not even made the list yet, like Brandon Moore. 11. Jason Brown - C-OG / Baltimore Ravens - Age 26 / FA Type: Unrestricted The marquee Ravens free agent whom no one seems to be talking about, Brown is set to cash …

We're not done on the OL. In free agency I think we are at that point where there are a bunch of equally rated players around, and no one wants to be first to pay one. Pace is smart to bide his time. I also think that we will probably be taking an OG or OT in the 2nd round. Don't sleep on the OT position, no ones talking about it, but we may be looking there more than OG. I see at least 2 more players coming at OL before the draft and free agency are over.
