I was listening to Doug Buffone and Hub Arkush on 670 the Score tonight. They brought up a good point. Why hasn't Mike Hass gotten a look, still? He catches anything that's thrown to him. Now, i'm not saying he'd be a great WR. But, i think he could be a solid WR given the chance to prove himself. For a team that needs all the weapons on offense. Hass is only 25 years old. Enough is enough, give the guy a damn look!

A couple of thoughts came to mind on the roster Does anybody think that is Grasu is up to par, his upside would put him back at C and move Whitehair out to LT? They are almost the exact same size , Leno's arms are 1 and 1/2 inches longer but I think Cody could absolutely handle the spot.

Two assumptions: 1) If the Bears lose to SF (I expect they will), they will have lost H2H vs Jacksonville and SF. That puts the Bears squarely in the #2 spot if I'm not mistaken. 2) The Browns have to take a QB. They've started 5 guys there, and even their version of Slash (Pryor) has a handful of passes. It's a mess and they need a QB. RD 1 - Myles Garrett, DE, TXA&M - Solidifies the only weak spot in the front 7. Elevates this D one more huge notch. With no injuries, that's a top 5 D in 2017. I really really really like Clements and think he'd be an exceptional hire. The only tough part about trading for our OC (and I'd be okay giving up Moore) is that we don't know if he'll be here for much more than a year so it would be hard to give up a pick (especially one that the Bears felt was a sleeper a year ago) for what might be one year of coaching. That said, I buy into Clements being the guy we can have with Cutler for a long time and I think Clements could fit into a long-term strategy with the Bears. I know BEARSDABOMB, Butkus, and a few other posters have touched on this... But it looks painfully obvious that this Bears team under Smith (and Angelo) seem to rest on their laurels. THey are all going about saying they are better than what we saw, that they are vets,yadda yadda yadda. Bottom line, that was then, this is now...and this is now started last season. This D is bad. Not even medicore. Bad. Only Mike Brown seems man enough to admit to such.

Beyond popular belief the rest of the FAgency will be valve choices. We had the one big one, so now we find people at our price. We made offers to Peanut and Melton but they think can get more money out there, so they are letting it play out. This is something I don't recall seeing last year. We have Isaiah Irving, an OLB, lined up very wide in coverage responsibility yet he blitzes off the edge. Meanwhile Kylie Fitts drops into coverage on a TE. I realize this is all backups but with Lynch hobbled again on his 3rd injury since signing with the Bears (he seems destined to take McPhee's place) these two are the leading replacements. Fitts is clearly comfortable in his backpedal and cutting underneath the route. I dont understand why Cutler and Marshall are blowing smoke up Hesters ass. He will just be a special play guy, not even going to be on the field 33% of offensive snaps, but everybody is lauding him. I dont get it. Marshall pretty well wont be leaving the field, Bennett and Jeffery will be the primary Wrs on the field and then Hester. We will see more two TE sets . Where is all the snaps for Hester. There is a reason he hasnt stood out as a WR since he got here, and I dont see him being special now. A PACKAGE PLAYER, sure he can get some plays, but dont see him geting more than 35 catches in his new row. What say you.
