From Omaha Beef... http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/...the-omaha-beef/ Tebow has an offer from the Omaha Beef Posted by Darin Gantt on April 30, 2013, 3:22 PM EDT Reuters Tim Tebow’s always been more of a loaves and fishes guy, but he has a chance to move some Beef if he wants to. In your regularly scheduled indoor-team publicity drive, the Omaha Beef have offered Tebow a chance to come play for $75 a game. Beef assistant general manager Andrew Mather told the Associated Press that he left agent Jimmy Sexton a message, but didn’t expect to hear back. Their quarterback, James McNear, has thrown 21 touchdowns and two interceptio…

The players have voted and the consensus is that Jay Cutler is not one of the top 100 players in the league but Tim Tebow currently a backup is.This just solidifies all the stupid tweets from the previous year when Cutler got hurt during the NFC Championship game. There is no way that Tebow or even some of the fullbacks voted in the top 100 should be ranked ahead of Cutler. This is why I hate these stupid polls.

What are your thoughts on the biggest disappoint this year. Mine is the offense and especially the offensive line. I understand the Cutler concerns and it depends on everyone's position i.e. Are you a Culter or a hater. My position is that I felt he has the physical tools and hoped he would gain the mental apptitude to play the position however his salary this year is guaranteed so if you can't trade him do you cut him and take the $16 million + cap hit. I wouldn't. Should we have drafted a QB in hindsight yes but the ones drafted this year could regress. In relation to the oline I feel this is the most important piece and could still change our season. We hav…

Other than a few high end drafts picks, Britton, Britt, Nicks, I think almost all the private workouts are second day picks. They seem to be looking for that diamond in the rough all the time. Althought, come to think of it, thats where they draft the best anyways. Payne , Graham, ect.

I don't know how many of you heard of this or saw this, but after Randel El's 2 point conversion yesterday, Hester tweeted this: Thoughts? This seems to be deeper than "I wish I got the ball more." Sounds more like "give me the f***ing ball, idiots."

every single signing is former busts and potential. Not one OL, no LBs, CBs, what is this regime thinking?

I would trade our top 5 pick to New England for Garappolo and their 1st round pick. I know many of you hate this but I don't care about past history of NE QBs. I want a QB who has been in the league for a few years, especially one that comes from a winning organization. Peace

This week is a short one with the Bears playing Sat afternoon. Here's the Tue practice injury report. We may be getting some players back with Goldman, McPhee, and Amos starting to practice in a limited manner. On the flipside we added Shaheen and Kendall Wright but neither appears to be serious. Detroit has some concerns on the Oline. http://www.detroitlions.com/team/custom-injury-report.html

This is something I don't recall seeing last year. We have Isaiah Irving, an OLB, lined up very wide in coverage responsibility yet he blitzes off the edge. Meanwhile Kylie Fitts drops into coverage on a TE. I realize this is all backups but with Lynch hobbled again on his 3rd injury since signing with the Bears (he seems destined to take McPhee's place) these two are the leading replacements. Fitts is clearly comfortable in his backpedal and cutting underneath the route. Irving adjusts into a Wide 9 alignment before the snap but is too easily pushed around the QB, of course they aren't in pads. Fangio appears to be mixing it up a bit with the younger and faster O…

Brady's suspension reinstated. The players collectively bargained Goodell to have these powers and I am glad that this decision was made. In my opinion whether or not I believed in the ball deflation argument Brady and the Patriots should have cooperated with the league. If my boss feels I have done something wrong and as requested something to aid the investigation then I know what would happen to me if I didn't provide. I felt Brady destroying his phone was sticking the finger up to the league and if you can't have discipline then it gives a free rein for the players to do what they choose

http://chicagosports.chicagotribune.com/sp...1,6929232.story Wolfe can't afford to let injury keep him off field By Vaughn McClure | Tribune staff reporter 7:46 PM CDT, August 10, 2008 BOURBONNAIS - The pain in Garrett Wolfe's left hamstring continues to throb. The Bears running back feels it when he dips through the hole. He feels it after catching a short pass over the middle. "I'd say I'm about 80 percent,'' Wolfe said. "It's gotten better from when I first hurt it, but I'm still not where I need to be. It's really starting to get on my nerves.'' He sure fooled the 50,000-plus fans attending last Thursday's exhibition against Kansas C…

On the Bears website in the ChalkTalk with Larry Meyer it has this Q&A: I would have never thought that Payton fumbled the Ball 85 times in 13 seasons. In retrospect, that is only 6.5 fumbles a season.
