Here is some recent rumors going around. I would like to see the Bears get an upgrade to the Nick Roach position. Depending on the money being spent to do so as we have alot bigger needs of course. Bears | May have interest in David Hawthorne Wed, 15 Feb 2012 13:23:36 -0800 The Chicago Bears could show interest in Seattle Seahawks impending free-agent LB David Hawthorne because his ability to play all three linebacker positions in a 4-3 defensive alignment. 0 Comments | Share: | Source: ESPNChicago.com - Michael C. If we can spend a little why not get Jay another FA target like Laurent Robinson from Dallas and still draft Floyd/Hill? Marshall, Robinson,Floyd/Hill Hester, Bennett, Knox those would create a lot of match up problems for the other teams coaches and their secondaries. We would then win a shoot out with the Packers!!!!

Mulligan of the Sun Times said the following, "It's a reason why anyone who thinks Muhammad was a bad free-agent signing by the Bears is uninformed. " For the record, part of his reasoning was/is that MM was a great run blocking WR, a role that is under-appreciated w/ WRs. Further, after stating that only the uninformed would consider MM a bad FA signing, he then mentions Thomas Smith (CB) who was signed back in 2000. I would agree Smith was a worse signing. I would even agree he was a far worse signing. But that doesn't mean MM was a good signing. As I recall, MM signed w/ the bears in early '05 to a 6 year deal. I full value of the contract varied, a…

https://www.profootballfocus.com/news/pro-what-the-advanced-analytics-say-about-mitchell-trubiksy I really don't get all the national hate for Trubisky. He is a nice kid, says the right things, isn't overly cocky or arrogant, and has played pretty damn well considering the circumstances (Fox/Loggains era). I find it funny when people compare him to Rodgers, Stafford, Cousins, etc. All vets. The funny thing is to check out their stats before they were all 25. Before his 25-yr old season, Cousins played in 3 games, started 1 game, and had a total of 4 TDs, 3 INTs and 466 passing yards. In his first two years, he was 1-3, with 8 TD, 10 INT and 1320 passing yards. …

The Bears had a chance to win this game - 3rd down and 1 at the 20 with 40 seconds on the clock. They should have run for the first down and then spike the ball. Would have been second down and had 2 shots at the end zone with about 20 seconds on the clock and a timeout. If you take a sack you can call time out. Trestman played not to lose and we lost. This is all on him. Peace

Yes, there is still a chance. It is basically win out or nothing. The Bears have to leapfrog 5 of these 6 teams: SEA, MIN, GB, LAR, NO, TB. Based on projections, all of them could finish 8-9. So if the Bears finished 8-9, they would have to win a bunch of tiebreakers with 5 of those teams which is extremely unlikely. So chances of making the playoffs going 4-1 and finishing 8-9 are probably around 10% (if that one loss is to CLE). Now if the win out and finish 9-8, there is probably a 75% chance they make the playoffs. ATL is currently a division leader and plays TB, CHI, and NO from the in the hunt teams. If Bears win out, they are beating ATL which would g…

Seen this on Twitter. Brady and Mahomes were never considered generational. Who ? Andrew luck - no Trevor Lawrence - no Joe Burrows - no Eli Manning was never stated to be generational Aaron Rodgers was never called generational Russell Wilson was never considered generational Matt Stafford wasn't Can anyone think of somebody? Maybe Peyton Manning, was he considered generational? In the last 20 years only Manning won one SB that was considered a generational prospect.

Wow, what a game. The script writers were on point with this one. Make it look desperate, then hit the climax and then the cliffhanger at the end. So much to unpack (no pun intended).

Cutler and the O did their job. The D failed us for 2 very long drives. In fact, Pepper may have caused the loss with his bonehead offsides when we had SEA at their own 10. However, Smith and Tice botching the 4th and short...was the 3 points we needed to win. Between the D and coaches...this loss is on them.
