Yes, there is still a chance. It is basically win out or nothing. The Bears have to leapfrog 5 of these 6 teams: SEA, MIN, GB, LAR, NO, TB. Based on projections, all of them could finish 8-9. So if the Bears finished 8-9, they would have to win a bunch of tiebreakers with 5 of those teams which is extremely unlikely. So chances of making the playoffs going 4-1 and finishing 8-9 are probably around 10% (if that one loss is to CLE). Now if the win out and finish 9-8, there is probably a 75% chance they make the playoffs. ATL is currently a division leader and plays TB, CHI, and NO from the in the hunt teams. Cutler and the O did their job. The D failed us for 2 very long drives. In fact, Pepper may have caused the loss with his bonehead offsides when we had SEA at their own 10. A story from Justin Fields rookie year came out over the weekend. Andy Dalton was working the white board, trying to help Justin with the offense and looked up and Justin was fixated on his phone. This should be fun. Caleb Williams needs to grow the F up. He showed me too many plays yesterday that showed prophetic to his draft critics. For starters, his head clock is killing him. His feet get happy too soon and inaccuracy follows. I don't see him as the guy that's willing to take the extra millisecond and take a hit. Here we go, the loser is pretty much eliminated from playoff contention. After 2 straight losses, we now are projected to win 7 games and only have an 18% chance to make playoffs. A third straight loss in the conference would pretty much eliminate us. This is a must win.
