MccClellin to LB? Bears head coach Marc Trestman added: "We'll look hard at Shea doing other things besides being lined up at defensive end. If that means moving him to a linebacker position as we move forward, that will be under consideration as well. But there's no doubt as Phil and I watched the tape this week that he's capable of more, and we'll work toward that as we move forward. He's got it in him. It's our job as coaches, and it starts with me, to get him in a position to be more successful, and we feel confident we can get that done."

http://thesidelineview.com/columns/nfl/for...2013-nfl-season Interesting article written by Angelo on a site that I did not know of. He grouped him with Ryan, Stafford, and Romo, which seems pretty hard to argue with. I just wouldn't put Cutler behind Kaepernick or Smith. He has Cam Newton at the same level as Brees? ESPN adds a little to it here: http://espn.go.com/chicago/nfl/story/_/id/...nsistent-clutch This is what Angelo says about Cutler: I don't know how accurate this is because saying he can only read half the field or is not comfortable reading defenses seems a little extreme for someone who is experienced as Cutler. I just think …

Seems Jay is making a point to management: http://www.chicagobears.com/news/NewsStory.asp?story_id=8138 "His ability in this offense is endless," Cutler said of Forte. "He's such a smart player and he's so versatile. This offense really can't run without him back there. The way he's able to take screens and get into the passing game and still run between the tackles, he's a threat all over the field and there's not many running backs who can do what he does."

  10. WTF is the front office thinking? We traded Orton, and 2 First round picks for Cutler. When this trade was made, it was blatantly obvious that Cutler would be our QB of the future. We have Martz and his complicated offense and the father of the Greatest Show on Turf. With that being said, why the hell wouldn't the front office give Cutler and this offense the tools needed to succeed in this league? Why would you continue for 3 years running with a below NFL average receiving core and a below average PeeWee football offensive line? And I say below PeeWee because you can tell an 8 year old to get in the way of the kid wearing a different colored jeresy and, after eati…

OK, maybe I'm looking at my glass as half empty again as I've been known to do...but dammit, why does it seem like we lay the biggest turds when we are a national game? After a strong week 1 we simply erased any goodwill nationally with the absolutely putrid performance against the Saints. We all complain how the national media disses us. but, dammit if it doesn't seem like we give them more then enough fuel to keep that fire going. yeah, the whole Fox thing about Cutler is just beyond belief. In fact, the Bears should sue Fox for slander. At least request some kind of apology. There should some kind of movement to have every single fan of the Bears watch, …

Watching the play in the first half where Cutler threw a pick, did anyone else notice that it appeared that Williams gave up on the play after making his move on the Cheese Head DB as Cutler threw the ball? Seems to me that if Williams was our best option available to pick up then he should be doing anything and everything he is able to in order to re-establish himself as a top-level (I use that lightly) receiver. Right now it seems that he is a waste of money as he has struggled with a groin injury and plays like the pick shows that he is really not into what needs to be as a player in the NFL.

  13. I have not heard.Has anyone seen or heard anything about the injury report this week??? I cant watch another game with 20 at safety. He is terrible in my best Sir Barkley voice.

http://bostonherald.com/sports/football/pa...&position=2 Partly posted as we are heading into a bye week, seems as though the news is stagnant and curious to see what others think. Could/would he be a worthwhile look? There is the possibility that his injury history and/or price could be a hurdle...but one has to ask.
