does anybody that watched that game doubt for a minute that las vegas made the call? as time expired on a kickoff return the bolts were lateraling the ball and polamalu tipped one backward lateral and ran it in for a td. the results made no difference in the outcome of the game and only effected the actual score and gambling spread. it was so plain, so obvious (even the field ref called it a td) that the only conclusion in my mind is that gambling/vegas influenced or paid off the review judge. never in my entire life have i see a play reviewed by booth or otherwise after time expired which would not influence the final outcome of the game and certainly reverse a…

Looking at the way this team has evolved the last 5 seasons, I feel it is in a transition phase. The transition phase is both mental and physical. The mental side of the coin belongs to the defense. I see a defense that is no longer willing to impose its will on the other team. It used to be the other team would choke, kowing we were going to make the play that would beat them. Now, we are reduced to the QB in the opposing huddle saying, "we got this". Our veterens need to step up and become what they once were. If you look at the ages of our highly paid vets, they are far from through physically. The key to our staff and players is finding a way to get that…

From the National Football Post: Diner morning news: How Titans, Bears will adjust by Michael Lombardi TGIF, everyone. The big free-agent signing in the offseason was Albert Haynesworth by the Redskins, and the big trade was the Bears’ deal to get Jay Cutler. Let’s look at those moves from a slightly different point of view — from what’s left for Tennessee and what can be expected from the Bears. ... Ron Turner, Chicago Bears Turner is in a unique position because rarely does a team trade for a young quarterback who has a proven history on the field. He’s like a race car driver who is able to jump in a car in the middle of a race. Coaches often…

All starting, wow! Offense: Brandon Marshall, WR Defense: Henry Melton, DT Julius Peppers, DE Charles Tillman, CB Tim Jennings, CB http://www.nfl.com/probowl/story/0ap100000...rosters-afc-nfc Briggs the only snub, and with them going with more 3-4 OLB's, I can see him being left out.

So I'm sitting here watching Darren Sproles rip Denver a new A-hole, and I wonder aloud to myself, "Why don't the Bears give Garrett Wolfe a chance? He's essentially the same type of player as Darren Sproles. Yet, they worked Forte to the ground this year and gave the left over carries to Adrian Peterson for some reason." Wolfe 5'7" 177lbs 5136 rushing yards in college (three years) 4.39 forty at his pro-day Sproles 5'6" 181lbs 4979 rushing yards in college (three years and change) 4.47 forty at the combine I sure hope Turner can get even the slightest bit creative next year and figure a way to get Wolfe into the game. Watching Sproles destr…

MccClellin to LB? Bears head coach Marc Trestman added: "We'll look hard at Shea doing other things besides being lined up at defensive end. If that means moving him to a linebacker position as we move forward, that will be under consideration as well. But there's no doubt as Phil and I watched the tape this week that he's capable of more, and we'll work toward that as we move forward. He's got it in him. It's our job as coaches, and it starts with me, to get him in a position to be more successful, and we feel confident we can get that done."
