I would like to hear some thoughts on drafting him with our pick in Rd 2? One of the mocks on Walterfootball has us taking him there. There's not a lot of game tape on him but he seems to have the athletic skills you need at OT. We need to be talking about the 2nd Rd OTs because if we go best available in Rd 1 as Emery and Trestman said they want to do, then this is a realistic possibility. Also in this area is Terron Armstead who opened some eyes with his faster than Te'o 4.71 forty.

This O-Line is now locked in for a few years. As long as they figure out who starts at LT (Jones/Trapilo), I like having this type of continuity.

They're sitting at #3 and nobody will trade with them. The QB they want is not graded out as worth the #3 pick, but they're not completely sure he's going to be there at the top of the second round.

It’s being reported by Moon Mullin that the Bears would trade Jordan Howard and the #8 overall pick for Jarvis Landry, the #11 pick and a 3rd rounder. I actually like this. Howard doesn’t fit our new offensive scheme as he’s a terrible pass catcher. It’d also be nice to get a 3rd round pick. The downside is we’d need to sign Landry to a long term contract extension as he’s been tagged. I’m also not thrilled about dropping from 8 to 11. But this would take care of our most pressing need.

It probably won't happen, but I'd love to find a way to get a DE/WR/QB in the 1st two rounds. Obviously we wouldn't be able to get all 3 in two rounds but guys that intrigue me a lot at the WR position are Hakeem Nicks and Jeremy Maclin (I don't care if he's small the guys a freaking player and would be one hell of a weapon...put him and Hester on a field with a nice posession receiver and you got a pretty sick WR corps especially when you combine it with the weapons we have at the TE position).
