To the "TalkBears" family, all my best during this Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year's Holidays. Hopefully this finds you all where you want to be in life and spending it with those who mean the most to you. Like in real families there are squabbles and disagreements. So is true here at the Talk Bears forum. I find myself, as I age, that my patience grows thin and I tend to spout off as if suddenly striken by Tourettes. Well i guess you know by now that the real problem with our team is the Oline period. Not the play calling, turnovers etc. Its just that our guys on the line either cant block or just don't want to block. We need to find guys that really want to play with a nasty attitude about blocking. i have said this many times.....our line is SOFT!!!!!! Webb is a big joker who smiles too much.....Garza is old....Carimi is sorry (maybe the knee is still his problem) Spencer is not ok and Luis is somewhat ok. I looked at some stats today and found a nugget of interesting data. But first, what does the media spew out all the time about "Lovie Smith's defense"? OMG! They're going to strip the ball. They're going to get turnovers. Well, guess what? They're tied for 13th in the NFL in terms of forced fumbles with 14. I heard a rumor the other day from a reliable source that the Raiders would be willing to part with Rolando McClain for a very insignificant amount in trade. Possibly a 6th or 7th round draft pick. And that's IF he doesn't get released. Young, crazy talented, maybe a bit stupid, definitely a bit of a trouble maker, but a possibly cheap solution for the MLB situation in Chicago.
