McPhee again like last season starting training camp on the PUP list. SMH McPhee Pup List On the bright side however, White will not be limited in practice. Hope he finally stays healthy and we see what he can do. White

*based off of Chicago signing nobody in FA* 1. Lane Johnson, T, Oklahoma --I'm not a huge fan, but Johnson will be the best OT prospect left. He probably needs 2-3 years development to be an NFL LT. 2. Kyle Long, G, Oregon --Great bloodlines and a nasty player. One day, he might be an OT. Perfect. 4. Kevin Reddick, MLB, North Carolina --Reddick had a good career. His last year started slow but ended fast. He ended the year with 74 tackles, 6 TFL, 2 sacks, 5 PBU, and 1 INT. 5. Jasper Collins, WR, Mount Union --Small, lighting quick WR out of a school that shockingly produces good WR's. 6. Brian Schwenke, C, California --Center depth. Garza's contract is…

Thanks for nothing Dallas. Monumental collapse on their part. As much as Cutler frustrates me, I'd rather have him than Romo. Not to jump ahead because the Philly game scares me but the Pucker win sets up Rodgers return for the season finale.

It appears Loggains wants to keep a FB on the roster. If so, this likely means we keep 3 TEs. Considering the other thread about Moeaki and the other TEs they took a look at recently I'd say they are trying to figure out which way they want to go with this last position on the roster. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0612-story.html

The first link is what I would do if I were in command of our draft choices. This was with the Fanspeak draft site http://fanspeak.com/ontheclock/draft.php?d=tilnzn I addressed our defensive needs first and then random players I think contribute to our team. This group is how I see it playing out for Emery. I think Emery will trade down and this is how it played out. Traded with SF for our 1st, we got the 30th pick, 2nd,3rd and a 7th 1st-Pryor/FS- he was still there and was 2nd rated S 2nd-a-Quarles/DT-he has been linked to our teams draft 2nd-b-Trutt/DE/DT- he was still sitting there and was considered with the first round pick 3rd-a-Hyde/RB-…

I have no doubt over half the members who post here will be moaning and groaning, some totally ballistic, about the Bears selections. Happens every year, we all have our favorites, guys we want drafted, but unfortunately they are seldom selected. I just hope this year we can keep it all in perspective and give Emery a chance to prove his worth without making rash judgements saying he is a failure because he did not pick who we want and making selections he feels will be best for the Bears, this year and the future.

  12. The Bears today signed undrafted rookie tight end Jesper Horsted and waived guard Tommy Doles in a move that strongly signals that blocking emphasis is being shifted from the interior linemen to the perimeter. Clearly the Bears have already lost faith in Montgomery and this move shows that they will be running Cohen a lot more than expected to the outside. https://www.chicagobears.com/news/roster-moves-bears-ink-horsted-cut-doles Yes Im joking it sure is slow.

With the shortened week, this is more about seeing what a few guys can do. Gordon and Velus Jones in their first action, Jenkins at RG and Borom at RT, Robinson and Ebner. Can Sanborn and Coley have another standout performance? With only 6-10 plays for the starters, which will probably equate to 4-7 passes for Fields. Seems like a small sample size but it will be nice to see if the updated O-Line with Jenkins at RG will hold up a little better for Fields.

I think things will be quiet now for awhile and we are working on trying to resign our players in FAgency. I think we resign Idonije, Loius, McCown, and Scott. I think we still get a CB in FAgency because there is a surplus and as time goes on the players get nervous and grab on to a job. I would like to see them grab a Sheldon Brown/CB played for the Browns. I think we still get one of our LBs in FA due to having to count on two rookies to start might be a stretch. I would like to seem them grab Daryl Smith/OLB from Jacksonville, just due to the tie to our DC and played at a high level last year. There is a chance Urlacher comes back, but the longer it goes I think the …

With this years FA and the draft so far the Bears are making me sick. Sick with Koolaid flu!!!!!!!!!!!!!! HA HA. We are getting everything we need for a deep run into the playoffs and SuperBowl. We just got Hardin a big 6'3, 222lb, 4.44 Saftey/CB not that he will be starting but put him in against C. Johnson. We got Jeffrey at 6'3 219lb for Cutler to throw to. Marshall and Jeffrey will be in beast mode during games. So there will be no more alligator arms like Knox does, those two will go and get the ball oh and not to mention the red zone with 6'3 Marshall, 6'3 Jeffrey, and 6'7 Davis...WOW!!!!!So this is what we have done so far Marshall = better the R.Williams T…

  19. Wow, that was impressive. Should've been a win. Refs suck. Even with a slow start, he is on pace for over 1275 yards rushing, and is averaging 102 yards a game in his last 4 (once they started actually running). So if he kept up a pace somewhere in between, he would be over 1300 yards for the year. If he kept up the same pace for the remainder of the year, he would break Lamar Jackson's single season rushing record. That is insane. DET, ATL, NYJ, and GB up next.

A couple interesting things from last nights practice. 1) Lance Louis got the start at RT. While Tice said he just "wanted to give him some more work" this is a a pretty good sign he's standing out in practice and the coaches wanted to see how he'd handle a little more pressure (Soldier Field, night lights, 26k fans). 2) Garza started at LG for us. 3) Olsen continues making plays downfield in this offense. 4) Peppers is just dominating our OTs. By all accounts he's working hard and I'm beginning to think we're going to see a really strong season from him. 5) Tommie Harris practiced and it didn't make the news. Very nice (in the se…
