  5. Since upgrading to IE 11 the text in the box you type in to post messages has run off the right side of the screen rather than wrapping around to begin a new line on the left of the box. It was very annoying. The solution is simple. If you have this happening go to the menu item TOOLS and select Compatibility View Settings. Click the ADD button to add this site to the list. Problem solved.

  6. http://blogs.chicagosports.chicagotribune....-camp-da-1.html Bears camp: Day 2 Bears fans, welcome to our running blog from Bears training camp. The posts are from Tribune reporters Vaughn McClure and David Haugh. Let's go ... 3:45 p.m. Bears general manager Jerry Angelo, sitting at the ESPN 1000 radio both here, said Devin Hester will be rewarded and that the team understands his value. Angelo also said rookie tackle Chris Williams will be "fine" after Williams left practice today with back stiffness. "Nothing to be overly alarmed about," Angelo said of of the team's first-round pick. 1:58 p.m. You can imagine the reaction after Rex Grossman just fumble…

Bucs Work Out Veteran OL Miller Posted August 26, 2008 by Roy Cummings Updated Aug 26, 2008 at 04:40 PM TAMPA - The Bucs have been on the lookout for someone to push Donald Penn for the starting left tackle job and they may have found him. Fred Miller, a durable 12-year veteran who has spent his last three seasons with the Chicago Bears, spent part of Tuesday working out for the Bucs at One Buc Place. The Bucs interest in Miller comes in the wake of their decision to let go of veteran Luke Petitgout. Petitgout was struggling to recover from a knee injury and a lingering back problem and had also earned a four-game suspension from the league for …

Never heard of this guy but then again I'm not doing any research on QBs this year. https://www.walterfootball.com/combine2020blog.php Florida International quarterback James Morgan was another quarterback multiple team sources said impressed them. Morgan has a live arm, and he did a very good job of throwing the ball accurately with velocity during the field workout at the combine, building on his strong week at the East-West Shrine. Team sources said that Morgan also interviewed well with teams. A number of teams are showing a lot of interest in Morgan, including the Bears, Packers, Buccaneers, Jets, Panthers and Colts. I see poor mechanics when …

I think it’s time for Bush to step up at strong safety because there are players left in free agency with significantly more defensive snaps. As you can see below his defensive snaps have been low and his base salary is $1,262,500 which seems a lot of money for a special teamer Defense Special Solo Assist Sacks Yards TFL …

  11. Started by jason,

Looking at the draft class, there are many available options for the Bears to pursue this year. The problem, of course, is the other 4-5 needs that supersede the WR issues. While Cam Meredith had a good season, it's not the first time Chicago has seen a promising WR do virtually nothing (i.e. Marquess Wilson, Royal, Bellamy, Aromashodu, Iglesias, Lloyd, Gage, Bradley, etc.). Well, sometimes those guys do something after leaving Chicago, but that's a different issue. If Braverman was the answer at slot, he likely would have seen more of the field when the WRs were dropping every third pass. Meanwhile, Kevin White is still a complete unknown. A wild card. Can he …

  15. So, we're hearing that for Marquess Wilson to make the roster, he either has to really stand out as a WR, or show value on special teams. This is not especially surprising, as the Bears have repeatedly gone after players for their special teams value (Costanzo, Weems, Zbikowski, etc.) and seemed dedicated to proving to everyone, whether we care or not, that they value special teams as the unheralded, but equally important, third phase of football. This makes ZERO sense. For one, the Bears knew when they drafted Wilson that he had no special teams experience, and that he was a slim WR who didn't exactly project as a special teams player. They drafted him as a W…

It is impossible to know how he'll perform once the pads go on but looking at the practice photos of Cornelius Washington he has bulked up quite a bit for his new role at DE. He made some noise last year in pass rushing drills early in camp before his injury. http://www.chicagobears.com/multimedia/pho...72-3dcb23fcef47
