Seems odd that this site hasn’t acknowledged Urlacher being a finalist in HOF voting. Maybe he’d like to be HC?

Having my Dad and Brother over. Our mutual insistance on NOT changing a thingis our superstition. Choice of beverage, Crown and Coke! Food optional! I'm stoked. Go Bears!

Fast player. Possible Nickel. I think we picked him up for kick coverage.

You know that whole Robbie Gould can't kick long field goals thing? 11 in a row over 50 yards tying an NFL record. 58 yarder - longest in Bears history. Not an issue anymore. Peace

Comments? Regardless of what happens here we need to win today I'd like to see a decisive win but I'll take a win. GB wins and they improve to 3-1 and Minny drops to 3-1 and if we win we improve to 3-1. 3 way tie for the division with the 1-3 lions at the bottom GB looses and they drop to 2-2 and Minny improves to 4-1 and if we win we improve to 3-1. we would move into second place. I have to think that this matchup favors the Packers. Minnesota hasn't had a true test like this yet. The 49ers should have beaten them last week but due to a fluke didn't. The Vikings have been flirting with failure and this time I think it bites them. I personally do…

You know, if this guy ever gets his head on straight, he could be amazing. (side note: I feel the same way about Bradley, but replace "head on straight" with "body to stay healthy")

Old Spice commercial is freakin hillarious. I love how he says who's laughing now....Me. Sorry, I saw it last night and just a few minutes ago on MNF, and wanted to hear what all of you had to say about it. Last night when it came on I laughed so hard my wife gave me the WTF look. His dry humor cracks me up like in the commercial and during the interview after the game. Cocky, yet funny gotta love that!

Noots’ Notes-Game 16: 31-24 Loss at Houston By Michael Nudo The Bears (9-7) saw their playoff hopes go down the drain as the Houston Texans (8-8) exposed the weaknesses in the Bears’ defense 31-24. The pivotal sequence was a blown coverage by Danieal Manning for a touchdown followed by Manning’s fumble of the ensuing kickoff. The Bears were unable to cling to an early 10-0 lead. The Texans wanted it more than the Bears (AP Photo/Dave Einsel). OFFENSE Quarterback Kyle Orton (22-37-244, 2 TD, 2/2, TD) finished the season on a positive note. This wasn’t by any means a great performance but it was pretty good, and had few mistakes. Most importan…

Suppose the Bears were one of the healthiest teams in the league instead of one of the most injured? What scenarios would have played out? What would the record be? The first thing I think of is Kevin White. If he didn't get injured again, would he have blossomed into a star WR this year? Would his ascendancy have led to Glennon performing better and keeping the job?

We still have Floyd which hopefully takes the next step forward but after him: McPhee--------gone saves 7.1 Young---------- save 4.5 at 32, probably gone Irwin------------just a cheap prospect Jones-----------just a cheap prospect I think we should bring in Houston, younger and cheaper than keeping Young. Resign Christian Jones to backup both inside and out Resign Sam Ocho, reliable backup. In FA: Junior Galette-----on a prove it economical contract Aaron Lynch-------young with upside Trent Murphy------- coming off an injury with upside Adrian Clayborn----- at 29 a good player but probably doesnt fit P…

I like this re-signing even if we lose a comp pick now (for Callahan). This fills a void at OLB3 and allows the team to focus te draft in other need areas. A crazy fact, Lynch is younger than Floyd and Mack. If Lynch can stay healthy, he is very productive when he plays.

My latest goofy video, proving that I saw this record and this game being what it is 4 weeks ago. Detroit has a rougher ride at the 2nd half of their season too. So it looks good for us my friends! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y5sX6n5htyo

In 2001 I was at the game the Bears clinched the division by beating Jax. It was damn cold in early January in Soldier Field. Anyway, in the second half of the game Keith Traylor, a big defensive lineman, intercepted a Mark Brunnell pass and took it almost to the house. It may have been the best use of RUMBLIN' STUMBLIN' BUMBLIN' in ESPN's history. I recall it as knowing at that moment the game was over but I know Jax had some time after that and just didn't do anything. Jauron was the head coach and I thought we had something good building. The win that day combined with a Packers loss gave us the division, a bye and home field against what ended up being the Eagl…
