Down to a few days until Black Monday. I am ready to put an end to the season and see how devoted the Bears ownership is to selling their product to the greatest fan base in the NFL. I have to say I will not be satisfied with their actions unless they put a football mind in charge of all decisions. The coaching staff has to go, which is easy because the players will never buy into them again. Emery may survive, he has made costly mistakes, but with structure above him and a competent coach below him, he may be servicable. If they drop only the coaches and Phillips and Emery survive, I will be highly disappointed and would expect more mediocrity and expect to see more wome…

I have ever seen. There were plenty of chances to get back into that game. We finally make it into the redzone, two piss poor sacks takes us out of field goal range. Then we get pinned back on the 1 yard liine down 24-3 in the third and they give up a safety. It started out hosed up and just kept getting worse. I hope this game was a wake up call. If they dont come out at home against the Packers with fire shooting out of their asses I'll probably lose it!!!

Jay Cutler to Devin Hester: Already in sync Chicago Bears combo hit stride quickly David Haugh | On the Bears June 4, 2009 One play into Wednesday's full-team Bears scrimmage session confirmed the most interesting bit of progress at Halas Hall still three months before the 2009 season-opener. Jay Cutler glided back into a seven-step drop, set his feet in a pocket protected by left tackle Orlando Pace, and peered downfield where wide receiver Devin Hester had gotten a step on his defender. For aesthetic purposes, ignore for a moment that cornerback Zack Bowman was limited in how physical he could get with Hester in this non-contact drill. But that …

I certainly do not want to upset anyone but I deleted the thread showing a PM from a spammer that was trying to get our posters to go to their new forum. That is highly insulting that they would do that. signed up today and immediately started spamming our members. I just deleted his or her account. If Cutsizzle returns under a new name let me know and I will delete them again.

A couple interesting things from last nights practice. 1) Lance Louis got the start at RT. While Tice said he just "wanted to give him some more work" this is a a pretty good sign he's standing out in practice and the coaches wanted to see how he'd handle a little more pressure (Soldier Field, night lights, 26k fans). 2) Garza started at LG for us. 3) Olsen continues making plays downfield in this offense. 4) Peppers is just dominating our OTs. By all accounts he's working hard and I'm beginning to think we're going to see a really strong season from him. 5) Tommie Harris practiced and it didn't make the news. Very nice (in the se…

INJURY REPORT AND IMPLICATIONS Chicago Bears (0-0) at Green Bay Packers (0-0) By Michael Nudo The Packers are eager to get rookie B.J. Raji into the action (Getty Images). BEARS OFFENSE vs. PACKERS DEFENSE The Bears’ offense is in good health entering the first contest. The only injury of note is backup running back Kevin Jones (ankle), who was lost in the final game of the preseason. Garrett Wolfe and Adrian Peterson will pick up the backup running back reps. New starters include tackles Orlando Pace and Chris Williams as well as guard Frank Omiyale on the offensive line. Second-year wide receiver Earl Bennett goes from a zero catch rookie seaso…

All of these are completely scientific and can't be disputed until they are incorrect after the season.

http://espn.go.com/nfl/story/_/id/11431868...cinnati-bengals Tough runner who might be a good fit given our overall lack of depth behind Forte. Karey came on strong and is looking good but I would think BJG would be an upgrade over everyone else and in reality a pretty nice compliment when compared to the backs we have on our roster. He has roughly 1700 rushing yards the past 2 years.

Bears WR Markus Wheaton will be sidelined 4-6 weeks with a torn groin. The Bears' supposed No. 2 receiver has been racked with injury since the early days of camp. He has one catch in three games. The team could opt to cut its 2017 losses and place Wheaton on injured reserve instead of waiting for him to get healthy. Limited to six games the past two years, Wheaton isn't much of a hold in Dynasty leagues. Source: Adam Jahns on Twitter Oct 12 - 5:49 PM

The motto of the offseason is "Get Younger & Get Better." Sign WR Reggie Williams - Still young with a great skill set, just hasn't lived up to the hype. Given the Bears desperate need for a big WR, I'm willing to give him a shot. Sign WR David Patten - Still has good hands and knows how to get open, and he doesn't seem to be the kind of player to pout if he doesn't get PT at this point in his career. I think Hester could learn a ton from him, at the very least, and he could be a nice "go-to" guy on third down if he can stay healthy. Sign OT Ray Willis - Player RG and RT in Seattle last year. Pencil him in at RT unless a stud we draft is clearly ready, …
