Man that HURT. What happened? 1. Our defense couldn't stop 3rd and longs. 2. Our OLine sucks when rushing (but are ok in pass protection). 3. We didn't use our TEs enough in the first half. 4. Not much pressure on defense, even when blitzing. 5. Special Teams coverage and the damn squib kick at the end.

This O-line debate has me thinking back to the days of when I first started following the Bears and the draft(yes they did have face masks lol) and my earliest memories date back to 1966 and with that being said the Bears have only had one GM since that time who was hell bent on developing the o-line. Alright, let me start by saying I realize we went into the game banged up on D and we took even more injuries during the game. I get that and it's a reasonable excuse. But it's an excuse nonetheless. Who in this draft is going to be a blue chip player from day one and makes us a better team now? Chubb could be the guy but will not be there. Barkley could be consider that type of player, but he will not be there in almost any scenario. Next will be Nelson, a potential instant all pro type. He would give us strength at a key need and push the O in his first year to be better. Now we are at players we probably have the best shot at . In the secondary Let M.Brown and McGowan go & get Sean Jones from Clev.and Asomugha from the Raiders Move Payne to SS and Vasher/Manning to the nickel DE see if Peppers is still there to Ogun WR get either C. Josh Woods a SS they got in last years UDFAs group that they keep calling a LB was the player that shined the most this weekend. He was on the PS all year, he played SS at Maryland, if he makes the regular roster this year, he may be the next SS.

Our Lads is run by former scouts and I look often at there opinions. 1. They had Fuller rated as the 5th best prospect 2. They had Ego as the 4th best DT 3. They had Sutton rated as the 5th best DT 4a They had Carey as there top rated RB 4b I could not find his name in the ratings. 6 Fales as the 13th rated QB 6 Donnerly as the top rated punter 7 Leno as the 12th best T UDA Jones as 4th best ILB UDA Lattimer as the 7th best ILB UDA Groy as 13th best G Im not saying they are smarter than anybody else but they have at least been in the War Room before.
