More specifically, Swift. The Bears are a top 5 rushing unit BEFORE contact, meaning the OLine is actually doing a great job at run blocking, yet Swift is bottom 5 after contact. So the run game is completely dependent on making a gaping hole that anyone can run through. RB will need to be addressed. Still can't believe Poles waited until the 7th to address it with a bunch of RBs on the board in the first few rounds.

I have to say I haven't felt this optimistic about back to back drafts including UDFA since the early 2000's and these classes might... might produce a ton of starters for a decade. I'll give an A- so far. We could have really used a receiver but we'll see how Gentrey turns out.

Bringing in a consultant to give Teddy advice isn't what I expected to hear. Accorsi might be a solid advisor but the same team of morons who picked Emery and Trestman are still the final deciders on this set of hires. THAT DOESN'T INSPIRE MUCH CONFIDENCE. I'd say this was all complete bullshit but I still love this team and hope for the best. But I'm not a fan of Phillips and think he needed to fall on his sword in some fashion. If he's honestly still involved in the football decisions of this team, we'll be having this same discussion again in a few years. God save us....

Looks like the Championship will be settled today with the 6th seed, Victorious Secret holding a considerable lead over the 1st seed, The Mad Lithuanians, but will ultimately come down to the later games. In the Consolation bracket, all games are projected to be within 5 pts of each other; still competitive in the final week. Two things stood out to me when they spoke at the combine. Pace didn't make a total commitment to MT ( put off fifth year option until May)and spoke on the effort of improving the OL and TE spots besides potentially fixing the QB problem. Tells me he will add both draft picks and vets to get that done at TE and OL. Also that he has a plan at QB that if it materialized, he would move on from MT. Nagy said that he needed to adopt the offensive scheme to his personal. So had he did that last year, we may have had 2 or 3 more victories.
