Hate to see any players get injured, but this one helps the Bears a lot as Bulaga was the Packers LT and one of their better players.

The controversial signing by the Cowboys of repeat spousal abuser Greg Hardy just took another turn as the league has suspended him for the first 10 games of the season ,which puts him on track to return Thanksgiving Day against his former team the Panthers. This of course is pending his appeal of his suspension is denied.

So, watching Nagy talk, and then Lazor today, here's what I'm hearing. I'm hearing a staff that thinks they are heroically taking the blame to shield their players, while they think that their scheme would have worked and players just didnt make plays. But guys, you only kept back 5 guys to protect on most passing plays, didn't roll Fields out, didn't run screens or draws or any of the other regular Xs and Os things that work against a pass rush that's coming too strong. If your point is that if you had a Pro Bowler at every spot who could handle anything one on one that then you could dictate all kinds of fancy problems for the defense, so you just run THA…

He was demoted when we signed Quentin Demps, but came back with a vengence when his window opened. He is becoming a center piece to an up and coming defense and his performance says a lot. It is too bad he didn't make the pro bowl, but his stats say he was deserving. According to the famous well liked PFF site, Amos ranks: 2nd in run defense with a 99.1 grade and 5th in pass coverage with a 89.5 grade. That ranks him #2 overall for all safties. With Jackson and him at S, the Bears have a tandem that can only get better with time.

A year too late it seems, which goes back to the day Phil Emery was hired. He came in under the condition that he had to keep Lovie for a year. I said it was stupid when …

We still can get a DT we would have liked if they took him in the first round left on the board. Top DTs left Jerrinigan Nix Hageman Truitt Quarles Sutton Anthony Johnson. We are going to get a good player in the second round at a position of need. Dont sleep on Ego Ferguson either or Jones from PSU. We will grab a good player there. If we get Jerrigan, Nix or Hageman, we did good in this draft no matter who else we draft.

Since this year is trash, time to look forward. I think we need to pick up 2 WRs in FAgency from a pretty good group and then draft one or two in the draft. In the draft we are going to get a top 5 pick so we should be able to move back and grab a couple of extra picks from someone looking for a QB.(Giants, Broncos, Cardinals, Jets, Dolphins,Chargers, Bills) Buffalo has two first round picks and two second round picks , so for sake of this article, we trade our (projected 1-4 pick) to Buffalo for (projected 1-15 and 1-20 plus 2- 51 picks) So in the draft we have 2 1sts, and 2- 2nds, with those picks in the first round we get a OT and OLB, in the second…

BEARS OFFENSEcolor> vs. BUCCANEERS DEFENSEcolor> Wide receiver/return specialist Devin Hester left last week’s game with a rib injury. His absence would mean more reps for Marty Booker at receiver and the possible game day activation of rookie Earl Bennett. Cornerback Nate Vasher returned punts and nickel back Danieal Manning returned kickoffs during last week’s contest after the injury. 18. NFL is investigating the FA signings of Saquon and Cousins per shefty. Expecting loss of draft picks - potentially more severe for Falcons vs. Eagles. Some swirling reports that maybe the Giants/Vikings actually pick up the lost picks. Would Falcons lose their 1st rounder (or will it be a lesser pick or a future pick) and beyond that - will Vikings potentially get that pick. Could have major implications on Bears positioning - especially if NFL set a tone and took away #8 pick (I would be shocked - I'm expecting something like a 2nd or 3rd rounder if they wanted to come down hard).

This one surprises me because I thought he was a lock. I guess with the Borom injury they need someone who can play OT as well, that seems to be Bill Murray.

We have been talking around this for awhile, but the Bears finished 7-11 and had 3 terrible losses that they shouldn't have had. The team has improved from last year and has the last place schedule. Those factors all point to at least 2-3 more wins this year. Then I saw a tweet from OTC linking one of their articles. In this article, OTC was explaining how they were valuing future draft picks based on previous trade values. However, one interesting table got my attention that wasn't related to the subject of the article. It basically breaks down teams by last year's record, then the average increase or decrease in wins based on their draft picks. Typically worse team…
