The Bucs have informed free agent Jeff Garcia that he is no longer in their plans. "With a new head coach, they want somebody pulling the trigger that they can mold," said Garcia. The 39-year-old will likely have to compete for a job no matter where he lands, possibly Minnesota. The Jets have been suggested as a potential suitor, but Garcia's noodle arm makes New York a poor fit.

I haven't looked at who SF drafted with those three picks, but I do know they drafted George Kittle in the 5th round the same draft that we drafted Adam Shaheen in the 2nd. Profootball focus did a study of the top rated WRs and there catch rate. He tops the list for the last 3 years with a .0315 drop rate. The worst was Roy Williams(thank god he is gone) with .1435 % drop rate. Marshall finished with (in three year span)a .1155%drop rate. He did have shitty QBs in Miami,so I guess we can look for improvement.

This offseason I'm most curious about our new defensive scheme. I remember the buzz about the UDFA signing of Charles Snowden and like Trevis Gipson he was a DE also that the previous regime thought was a LB! I'm thinking that this is another sleeper in the mist.
