The last training camp practice just wrapped up. Now we head into the final preseason game where several backup spots are in play. Bring on a lunch break and my phone i’m not in a position to do a full 53 But I want to get the conversation started Oline. I think we keep 10 but could just as easily see 9 if Ozzy is close to returning. I’ll need to see the game to make a decision on Wills vs Benedet. 10 would be the team hedging their bets and buying time on the LT competition with both Wills and Benedet. Kaden Davis makes it as the 6th WR. Dline 9. Grady, Dexter, VDB, Gallimore, and Lynch. Booker, Sweat, Dayo, Kromah. Lynch is place holder until Turn…

Lots of mocks have the Bears getting Donald or Jernigan in the first. Most of us are fine with that. But what if there is another guy there in the second. Maybe Hageman or Tuitt? Would you be fine with that? I think I would simultaneously dislike it while being excited about it. It's a definite gamble, but it's one of those gambles that has a decent chance of paying off. You could place bets in multiple places, but sometimes you just have to put your money in one place and let it ride.

Vic Fangio has decided to join John Fox's staff in Chicago. Skins were very interested. Fangio made his decision today

https://twitter.com/AaronLemingNFL/status/574904193523187714 Awesome news, one of the top 3 OLBs on the market. Now we need a Safety. Really not bad at all, only $16 mil guaranteed is awesome.

Last year at this time I was giving JA all the praise in the world, and I still believe the 2006 draft was what you expect & hope for from you general managerevery year. The top 5 players (Danieal Manning, Devin Hester, Dusty Dvoracek, Jamar Williams, Mark Anderson) if healthy could all be starting, and you have a bon-a-fide superstar in the mix in Hester. As great as 2006 was, 2007 was awful. It's seriously made me wonder what the hell JA was thinking: #1 TE Greg Olsen--Helluva a player, but Matt Millen could have even made this pick. Angelo lucked out in what was arguably our greatest need, fell this far due to the fact so many teams drafted TE's the year …

http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/7916862 I wish the Bears would take this offseason as serious as these allegations.

Looking for any feedback on the practice tonight. Media reports say Orton played well but there's little beyond that.

What bothers me about these decision makers is the lack of a plan to address needs. I will give them they went out and addressed DE, but still have questions at FS and OL. and if you wish to buy into it, still need help at WR. Someone like Philly will drop players, sign people, make trades, and address there needs in the draft anyway they need to. You can right or wrong, at least see a plan with what they are doing. I wish I could figure out what our leaders are doing, they have did some nice things over the last two years, but fall short with to many bad decisions. They keep repeating moves to make up for past mistakes. As much as no matter what I want the team to succe…

So Cutler is on the radio and asked about the WRs, and who he expects to breakout, and he once again, immediately goes to DA, then mentioning Iglesias. I bring this up because we keep hearing (I think from the staff) that Hester and Knox appear to be the starters. Last year, Cutler seemed to beg for DA to play. This year, Cutler again really seems to be pushing for DA to have a key role. Will he? So, how do you all see the WRs shaking out and/or how (if different) would you like to see it shake out. What I would like. DA and Knox as the starters. Both have speed and DA has size. Great talent duo here. Hester in the slot. I know the staff reall…

If this was the offense the bears were going to bring out today you might as well have started clausen

wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this possible trade. On one hand I think about when Graham was with Saints and how dominate he was. Think about an offense with him, Alshon and White. That trio could be insane. How do you stop those three(if white is as good as expected). On the other hand, what is Graham going to look like post injury? Would you get the Sea Graham or the Saints Graham? for debating purpose lets say Graham is going come back and play like the Saints Graham. Would you make that trade?

Finally got one deal done, lets hope for Hicks and Gresham.

Bears made the trade finally. They will get a draft pick compensation, which is unknown right now. Sounds like they are flipping some picks. Wheeling and dealing continues: Bears are trading TE Martellus Bennett to Patriots for draft-pick compensation, league sources tell ESPN.

I've thought all along round #2 was the perfect spot for a 5 technique. We struck gold their with Goldman last year and the draft is much deeper. On a side note, Atlanta and Oakland both made deep reaches at safety in Neal and Joseph. i don't know what to think of that, but it helps the Bears in solidifying the defensive front.

Who are you most excited to see? For me it is White and the revamped defense.

I saw a discussion on Twitter that said Wentz only had 6 more completions than Trubisky in college, which I was surprised to hear. So I looked up their numbers: Wentz - 392-612, 64.1, 5115 yds, 8.4 Y/A, 45 TD, 14 INT Trubisky - 386-572, 67.5, 4762 yds, 8.3 Y/A, 41 TD, 10 INT So the whole lack of experience thing with Trubisky is sort of bogus. Also, I cannot believe Philly didn't get more crap for trading up for Wentz. He was an FCS QB who only played in 7 games and was a 5th year Senior. How the hell was this guy even a top rated QB? When I look back at old articles, they don't even mention he was a small school QB who was hurt and missed 8 games?…

bring in a college coach who has a fukkin clue and a will to change if his scheme isn't working.... Under Lovie SMith Bears have not drafted a starting: LineBacker, OT, or Cornerback, and our safeties are a joke

I figured this deserved his own thread: Jason La Canfora just tweeted that it looks like Marinelli is leaving to go to Dallas.
