Another member of that famous 65 draft though he came in undrafted and turned out to be one of the Bears most electric returners who some say never called for a fair catch. He wasn't bad as a corner either and I have to tell you all that between Gayle Sayers and Devin Hester, he, Cecil Turner and Ike Hill were some guys who were exciting on returns for the Bears back in the day. Ron Smith was fearless on punt returns and he was one of my childhood favorites. He succumbed to lung cancer at the age of 70 but, his 30+ yd return avg in 72 got him voted to the Pro Bowl as a return specialist.

They mentioned this on NFL Live today but i didn't see it posted anywhere. He has had a very long recovery from his hip surgery but at least he's finally cleared for full practice.

This is always a bad time of the year to stay interested in football for me, draft gone, free agency almost gone, training camp hasnt started yet. Since I play a lot of fantasy football and I know people on this board better, I am not sure who everybody is in the FF money league here is. I know Adam and bowling, but who else is in that league? I am Devildogs, so who else is what teams?

Well our O-line will be different this year for sure, but now different and who plays where is the $100,000 dollar question. Travis Jackson/QB was released, should we be interested? I think he also would become our top backup if we picked him up. Also Vonte Leach is said to be going to be released today. The top rated blocking FB in the league last year.
