Why are the Bears struggling so hard to win games this year? The Offensive and Defensive rosters were full of experienced talent, and we finally had coaches with a scheme that can put up points. The answer was the Bears biggest offseason loss, and it's someone you might never have heard of. Rusty Jones was the Bears Strength and Conditioning coach from 2005 through spring of 2013. During that time, the Bears were relatively injury free. Nasty conditions, penalties, dropped passes, and McCown comes out with no turnovers, a 92.9 QB Rating, and ended the game 9 for 11 after starting 10 for 20. With us going to STL and then MIN the next two weeks, it would make sense to go with Josh again to allow Jay time to completely heal.

It is either their bonehead coaching staff or undisciplined defense that will probably see the bears win the division. I was really disappointed last weekend but after a couple of days reflecting I can't see them sustaining a good run to win the division. If you consider our injuries against there's and our different schedules it shows a great job our coaches and players have put out so far this year.

The no-call pass interference in the New England/Carolina game could end up costing us a playoff spot. The most-watched sport in the US should have full-time referees who know what they are doing and can actually keep up with the athletes on the field. Peace

Have to find a way to beat them. I am assuming that Ratliff and Briggs will not play so the defense needs to do something. I think we need to score at least 28 points to win and hopefully hold them to field goals. Peace

1. Our D is the most putrid piece of crap I've ever seen wear the storied uniforms. In fact crap is more useful, at least it's fertilizer. I don't care about injuries. These clowns have no pride. I think the Bears front office needs to look long and hard at yesterday's film and think about next year. Sure, injuries killed the Bears, but the players in the game were pretty bad. That got me to thinking about a fix... What players could be traded, and what would the Bears get in return? I'd love to see multiple trades to stock up on draft picks so the Bears can try to get a playmaking DE and Safety in this year's draft. Does anyone have a good idea about who could be traded and what the Bears could get? Realistically?

After the loss on Sunday I did my customary exhale that bear's fans know too well. That exhale that means, "I'm done, the bears are done/what happened to all the optimism from the offseason/why do I do this to myself every year." I know that is a lot to fit into an exhale but it's there. Then I saw a series of Christmas list's that my kids made and I had a change of heart. I found a seedling of faith and I drank the kool aid and began the speculation. There are 4 winable games on the schedule and the lions can lose two. They just lost two winable games in a row. I can feel the momentum building.

It's a boring slow morning for this guy so I wanna compile my realistic "Fantasy defense". Was thinking about this earlier in the week and it was just brought up on Waddle and Silvy. Who would you rather win tomorrows game? You'd think the obvious answer is that you want the Packers to win because it'd mean a Bears W means they're in first place. But, a Lions victory all but knocks the Packers, who will be getting Rodgers back in a week(maybe), out of the playoffs. Really not sure which way I'd wanna go here.

There's a chance the bears could have (gasp) actual defensive tackles active in this game!
