Bearstalk

Are you a diehard Chicago Bears fan? If so, you've found the spot to discuss all things Chicago Bears. Discuss the Monster of the Midway right here as the Bears look to get back on track in 2024 and take the North and never give it back! Flaming is not allowed and all such posts will be deleted. Try to keep it clean and most importantly BEAR DOWN! #BEARS #CHICAGOBEARS #BEARDOWN

  1. I have ever seen. There were plenty of chances to get back into that game. We finally make it into the redzone, two piss poor sacks takes us out of field goal range. Then we get pinned back on the 1 yard liine down 24-3 in the third and they give up a safety. It started out hosed up and just kept getting worse. I hope this game was a wake up call. If they dont come out at home against the Packers with fire shooting out of their asses I'll probably lose it!!!

his defense is a complete train wreck. i have never in my lifetime ever seen a bear defense this bad. it's historical. the wall of shame: tucker - i have given this guy a break all season because of the injury factor. no more!! i understand injuries can be a real cause for 'some' of the problems we are seeing but... by this time in the season NOBODY is a rookie anymore and to see these players game after game make the same mistakes and see no change or improvement is simply incredible.after 15 weeks of game play these players, rookies AND vets, still not having a clue how to play their position falls on the coaching staff and phil emery. either these …

  3. Bears need to fire Tucker and DeCammilis. Okay, I haven't said that about Tucker all year but about 4 weeks ago I started saying it. Special teams is easily said. Its freakin awful. Defensively, yes there were injuries, but lets look past that because Tucker had time to adjust and had continuity (albeit replacement players) and this team has been nothing but out-schemed, out of position, poor tackling, poor angles, all year. That is very very very much on our coaching and heads need to roll for it. Trestman doesn't know defense...I get it...we learned our lesson with Lovie or I hope we did and we need to stop freakin around and pay big money to someone who can come…

It is admirable that all on this board, while there are occasional disagreements, are all united in their passion for the Chicago Bears. I for one very much enjoy this board; I enjoy the different takes on many subjects, I enjoy many poster's thought processes. I enjoy having the chance to discuss one of the outlets (the Bears) in my life that helps relieve the stress that comes with working and everyday life. While I don't always agree with everyone, I do appreciate all that you bring to this message board. For all that, I wish all of you and your families the very best this holiday season. I hope for a bright new year for all. Happy Holidays!!

If we beat the Packers we are in the first round of the playoffs. Our first game will be at home against either four of the warm weather teams the 49ers,Panthers, Saints or the Cardinals depends on this last weeks games. I like us at home against any one of these teams in the cold.

So its almost that time...we have 27 free agents this year with a lot of one year contracts. So in the best interest for the team ...who do we resign and who do we let walk? Quarterback: Jay Cutler Jordan Palmer Josh McCown Running Backs Tony Fiammetta Wide Receivers: Devin Hester Tight Ends: Dante Rosario Offensive Tackles: Jonathan Scott Guards: Matt Slauson Eben Britton Centers: Roberto Garza Defensive Ends: Corey Wootton Defensive Tackles: Nate Collins Henry Melton Jay Radcliff Outside Linebackers James Anderson CHI Inside Linebackers DJ Williams …

Assume Bears, Seahawks (vs STL), Panthers (at ATL), and Saints (vs TB) win. That leaves 2 games to deciding the seeding for the NFC. SEA and CAR would finish 1-2. PHI at DAL SF at ARZ If SF and PHI win (favorites): NO at PHI and SF at CHI 4 If ARZ and DAL win (home teams/underdogs): SF at CHI 3 and NO at DAL If SF and DAL win: NO at CHI 3 and SF at DAL If ARZ and PHI win: SF at PHI and NO at CHI 4 So to me, the best matchup is NO in Chicago, and that would only happen in the last 2 scenarios. If all favorites win, we get SF. A crazy scenario is if SEA somehow loses (possible but unlikely), they could drop all the way to th…

With Frazier rumored to be on the hot seat, he would be a better candidate to run the Bears defense than Ryan.IMO He is familiar with the division and has run successful defenses in Minnesota in a 4-3. If he takes the heat for the Vikings drop off in play this year he will be in demand as a coordinator.

PLAYOFFS START SUNDAY!!!! Now we start our first payoff game at home with the Packers. I think we win this game for a few reasons. 1. We are at home 2. Its lose or go home 3. Cutler has a real reason to be motivated to win since the last NFC North Champ game we lost, also this is make or break for Cutler as far as contract goes. Hopefully he can pull a Flacco like last 4. Rodgers will be back.....but will be gun shy and rusty, Lacy is banged up, Matthews, Jolly are out and Briggs is back 5. Everyone is picking the Packers.....fueling the pissed off mentality the Bears should have to prove them wrong. One question....if we win and the Cowboys win …

when i talk about bad i don't mean just bad, i mean historically bad. some of/the worst in NFL history and THE worst in chicago bear history. 2012 new orleans saints allowed more yards in one season than any team in NFL history. total yards 7042 passing yards - 4681 rushing - 2361 - 5.2 YPA steve spagnuolo DC - FIRED after one season of badness 1981 baltimore colts - mike mccormack - defensive minded head coach - FIRED after his 2nd season as HC. total yards - 6793 passing yards - 4128 rushing yards - 2665 - 4.4 YPA the chicago bears after 15 games with mel tucker as our defensive coordinator total yards after 15 games - 5840 …

The defense has had posts all over the site, so I would like to know exactly what you would do? There are a lot of smart people on here, this will be my opinion.(do me a favor and dont spend 200 mil )(Anybody can list a bunch of good players, but need to fit in our cap) First of all I dont care for Tucker, but think he will get one more year to prove himself when he gets total control of the defense.(didnt have it this year) Players still here: Briggs,Conte,Peppers,Paea,Bostic, Greene,Frey,Washington,McCellen----------I think Peppers, and SCM are gone Players we resign: I think we bring back Jennings, Bowman,Anderson,Collins, Radliff ,Bass We pick…

Seems appropriate...Alshon should have gone as well, I think. But his time will come! Marshall got in due to a great year and his reputation.

Well here it is boys, the playoff run starts here. Sure Cutler is 1-7 vs the Pack BUT like Da Coach would say "Those who live in the past are cowards and losers". Last year the Pack got to Jay an alarming 11 times in 2 games....With no Clay Matthews around this time I believe things will be different. How will Rodgers react to contact? Will the Bears get contact on Rodgers? If ever there was a time to dial up some blitzes now would be the time. Can't let Aaron get comfortable back there. My prediction is Jay WILL outplay Rodgers, and the Bears WILL beat the Packers! 31-21 Daaaaaaaa Bears

“Jay will be back. Jay will be back. So all these stories for the offseason, you guys can put that at the bottom,” Marshall said. He reiterates those statements on the Sports Sunday post game show. Don't know if it's just a "buddy statement" or if he knows this as a fact. Both the locker room quote and the post game show quote sounded pretty confident.
