What a good start on offense 3 plays TD and no negative plays. But damn does our kicking game suck

We need a RT.. Mills and Leno both suck. They should just move Long to tackle and be done with it. He's more valuable there than at guard. Good pressure on the quarterback by the defense early. Offense needs to quit shooting themselves in the foot with penalties. Decent showing so far. Let's see how the 2nd quarter goes.

At this point, are we already just looking forward to the draft? Bears making stupid penalties, but get bailed out with an EZ interception. That's nice to see. And the OL is giving Hoyer a decent amount of time thus far. Of course, they're still running that "never ran it with Cutler"-offense, which adds a little something to it. Can't say I remember more than one or two naked bootlegs the entire time Cutler has been under center. Now with Hoyer? Once a drive. Go figure.

According to "Swift Sports Network" the Bears will be designated as the away team in a matchup with KC in Germany. I haven't seen this confirmed anywhere else. If true, it would be a good trade off. Some intrigue for the final game of the year, will this be Forte's swan song? Will this be Adam Gase's last game with the team as OC? Will any new players emerge or standout? I hate Rodgers. If he's hobbled the Bears should blitz all game and put a target on him. The Packers' OL gets away with more holding than any other team. This is the only game I actually want to win.

It's here! 5 days from kickoff. Who's pumped up? This is the most excited I have been for a season to start in a long time. This team has one of the best rosters and coaching staffs in the NFL. We have guys fully healthy (Robinson, Miller, Long, Floyd, Shaheen), with up and coming stars (Smith, RRH, Nichols) and fresh blood (Montgomery) to go with a stacked roster of Pro Bowlers. The Bears have a chance to win the Division, while knocking GB out of playoff contention, in front of their home crowd, it doesn't get much better than this. It should be one of those "passing the torch" type of games with a win. We need to stay ahead of Dallas and depending on if LAR or NO tank, we have an outside shot at a bye.
