Never played Keeper before so let me say that before I make my suggestion: Let's keep 1 player only. That player has to be a player you drafted and kept on your roster for the entire season. You lose the draft pick for whatever round you drafted that player. Not sure if we would have access to our draft info or this years rosters next year so I am not sure how that would work.

BlueCollarBears I believe is the other team that has not paid. I believe he had a problem with the site and asked for an alternate means of paying but was not responded to.

There was 160.00 collected. 2 members still need to pay. The pot should be 200.00. I Know Acedthesobrietytest posted on the league site wanting to know how to pay. The options you give for payouts show a pot of 100.00. What is up with this?

Bogus. Anyone who wants to can register with that site and post articles. We had a couple of guys register with this forum so they could post links to their articles on the Bleacher Report and spam our site. The articles sucked. If you notice Andy who wrote the article is mentioning himself as the beat reporter breaking the news for a program on the Score that does not even exist.

Would we really want Bates as an OC? He called plays for Denver but Shanny was actually playing the part of OC. He did prep Cutler, but would he accept a QB Coach job? From this excert from an article, it appears he had limited success as an OC for USC (last paragraph scares me).

If there is someone on one of the 12 teams that are in the playoffs that they want to approach they may decide to wait until their team is eliminated or wins the SB but otherwise I suspect they will start the process immediately.

Many of us wanted Cowher. Jeff Fisher is well liked by most of us on the forum. I never cared for Holmgren, probably because he was HC of GBP but he was considered a very good HC. I am sure there was a time when fans wanted them fired as well when they missed the playoffs three years in a row. I think the moves today "COULD BE" significant enough to change things around. I want to wait and see who is brought in as OC & DC before I totally evaluate what I heard and saw at the news conference.

How can we predict our wins & loses when we do not know who will be our GM, HC, DC, OC etc.... Maybe we stay status quo, maybe we make changes How can we predict our wins & loses when we do not know how our roster's weaknesses are addressed via FA, trades, &/or the draft? I know we are beginning a long off season and we need to discuss something to keep from going crazy, but I think I will wait until some of the answers to the above are given before I will attempt to answer the question implied in this thread.

Definately. I love our WRs development and think we have a great young core that will blossom. Last game against MIN our OL gave Cutler the protection he needed and we saw what happened. We need to go after FA OLmen that will strengthen our OL and make what we saw on last Monday night a routine instead of an exception. Our defense suffered greatly do to injuries. URL & Pisa were huge losses early in the year. Our DBs have had a lot of injuries this year. If we can bring in some talent on D fine, but I do not think the talent level of our players are lacking that much. We definately need to get better coaching. If we keep Anelo & Lovie, fine, but bring in a defensive and offensive coordinator to upgrade in both areas. Of course, I personally want to see Lovie gone and his crew replaced with the exception of a few. Hopefully Taub remains with the new staff, if replaced.

On the NFL Network they always have a session with the head of all the officials going over issues that came up during the games. I wish they would propose the question brought up in this thread to see what he would say.

On the Chicago Bears website there is the article entitled "Reason to celebrate". In the pick is Cutler, R Davis, and ???? The third guy I can not see but only a part of his number. Looking at the roster and trying to figure out what number his jersey is I am at a loss. He is one huge & homely guy, LOL. Kinda guy who would star as the "horror" in a b horror flick.

Great Job Noots! The only disagreement I would have with your grades is STs. We did a good job in coverage of the Vikings' return teams. Harvin was pretty much taken out. Our return guys did an outstanding job of getting us great field position. Gould did miss one long FG but hit on the first 3. The blocked extra point was critical. I would have to give them an A.

Your getting me excited now, LOL. I knew he had been mentioned before but I did not realize until now the extent of his success over the years with other QBs and WRs until I read this article. Seems like a great choice to me, better than the 4 I listed in a previos thread.

If BearFansUnited.org are successful what would you do? The family does not have the money to eat the contracts of Lovie and JA AND hire a big name (Shanahan or ???) to take charge. I personally do not fault JA for our problems. He brought in Cutler. He signed Pace who we all felt would be a great improvement over St Clair (little did we know). He brought in several other OLmen trying to beef up the OL. Was he successful, no, but he did make an attempt to fix a problem and I am sure he will address it again this off season. He tried to go after a #1 WR in Boldin. He has done a good job of finding players for our coaching staff to work with. The problem has been, as we have all said, our coaching staff does not know how to utilize & develop players they are given to work with. They do not know how to make up a good game plan. They do not know how to call a game on offense or defense. So if we retain Phillips, JA, Cliff Stein, the Scouting Staff, etc... we are talking a whole lot less cash involved to dump Lovie and bring in a new group to pull us out of the quagmire we are currently in. So who do we replace Lovie with that will not coat us 25+ million (which Virginia & family could not afford after eating 11 Million from Lovie's deal? I do not blame the WPF either. A great organization. I am just saying DB is the one causing the controversy they are trying to avoid and then when the WPF asks for their link to be removed from the BFU site, DB has a statement posted on the Score site from a representative of WPF making it sound as if the WPF supports DB's stance.

Bernstein is such a jerk. After ConnorBear told me of the objection he (DB) had for the BFU project, I went to the Score website and started reading the Blog about the allegations DB made and must say it wanted to make me puke. He twisted things around & made comments that in my opinion are totally unfounded. He is trying to paint the BFU project linked to by this thread as a scam. He is stating that it is illegally claiming to be a charitable organization. BS! BFU was just offering to donate any money left over to a charity to assure those donating that this "extra money" obtained if the goal was exceeded would not be misused. They targeted the Walter Payton Foundation as the charity that would be donated to. They posted a link to the foundation on the BFU website. They NEVER claimed to be a charitable organization. Their goals were clearly stated. Then DB & Co. contacted Walter Payton Foundation & told them of their opinions of BFU. WPF then contacted BFU to remove the link to their Foundation. A press release was then posted on the Score saying how the WPF requested the link removed (which BFU did quickly as requested). Their reason was they did not want to be associated with anything controversial. The only controversy that I know of was dreamed up by DB. I have lost all respect for Bernstein. If he wanted to disagree with the project, fine. He certainly has his right to do so and express his opinion. That is what he is being paid for. However, he has no right to make misrepresentation of the facts to discredit BFU and try to undermine their efforts. The hell with it. I was going to treat myself to some breakfast this morning but instead of going out I think I will make some toast and coffee and make another donation. I hope the BFU goal is met and DB can smell the BS he is shoveling.
