  1. The Vikings payed a high price for their mid level QB. Cousins has been in the league 8 years too. Rex will never make it out of Chicago, doesnt matter who the Bears have at QB they will never survive or succeed.
  2. I think Nagy spent some offseason time preparing for this matchup. He is going to bait Fangio and do a switcheroo. It will come down to the trenches, if Daniel's makes the right line calls and they give Mitch time, he should settle down and not make rookie mistakes. The Bears awaken from hibernation and feast on Broncos for lunch 25-6.

    QB Hell

It is frustrating for sure. Good Rex... Jay...Mitch, Bad Rex, Jay, Mitch. One, he is not as bad as Thursday and two, he will never be Pat. What they need is for him to understand the game and yet he is a ways off. I think he spent the offseason learning the plays but not seeing how they play out with the NFL speed. At least they have an option on him because this version won't make it to year 5 unless he learns quick. We will be back to signing a vet or trading draft capital bc we want to win now.
  4. I ain't saying Jack until our game is over.
  5. Watching Sundays games is not helping. Young QBs having career games, WRs throwing up 150+, RBs scoring and hitting the century mark. To make it even worse, we only scored 3 freaking points...3. Gonna be the low turd after Monday. Next Sunday needs to get here fast to get this nasty taste out. Nagy has his work cut out to get this team up to speed. They owe us a game. The offense owes the D.
  6. Did you see Browns social media, he had a camera crew there. This was all pre-planned and for as quick as he was a Patriot, I'd say they were involved. This has to have team owners furious and it will add language into future contracts making it tougher for these to happen.
  7. Minnesota looks pretty tough out of the gate too. The good part is the Bears could scale back on offense and it would help imo. Get a run established, add some screens, then once that is going some deep shots to soften the d
  8. It is unfortunate for the Raiders. If this was the plan all along, they should be granted compensation. It is good for the Bears as it helps us get value back in the Mack trade, but I would hate to see players use this tactic in the future. Wonder how long Gronkowski stays retired. This might have him thinking one more ring.
  9. Glad I only have Brown in a free FF league as a WR1. Took AJ Green with a late pick, now I will hold two inactives on my bench. If the Bears do not turn around from Thursdays performance, the Raiders might have a high first round pick from us. Lord, please help Nagy, Trubisky, and the 5 OL find the vision and power to defeat the remaining opposition. Amen
  10. I think we seen some woes of switching Daniel's to center. He had some troubles making the calls at the line. Let's hope this was the worst game the oline played and it is out of the way.
  11. Did Trubisky check out of run plays due to GB daring him to pass? I didn't see any screens or the trip WR bubble screen. Nagy needs to get back to the basics and hold Trubisky a little tighter on check outs. Montgomery needs 15 to 20 carries, use Davis to spell him. A loss by 7 feels like we were pounded by 30. Hate to be down on the season already, so gonna give it another chance to see if progress is made.
  12. I was on the Wims bandwagon when we took him. Seen him play big in 2017 and his play had my attention. He earned more opportunities and I think he will please.
  13. I seen early reports of Mizzel over Vaughters. I couldn't understand why another RB was needed. If one gets hurt, RBs can be found on the street.
  14. Glad to see Whitehair locked down. The old days of ignoring the oline seem to be gone. Pace needs to invest early in a OT next year as I am not big on counting on Cowerd to be that guy.
  15. Hopefully we get a few players to the practice squad; like Duck, Denmark, Bunting, and maybe Franklin. Caldwell RB was released to I believe.
  16. I like Horsteds effort, seems like a great kid. Put him in the Dane Sanzenbacher, Mike Hass, Daniel Braverman, Tanner Gentry club. One day one of these kids will make it, maybe it will be Horsted.
  17. Hate to say it, but Shaheen will not be cut. Traded maybe, but the Bears will not give up on a player coming into year 3. Shaheen was raw and the Bears knew it would take him time to adjust. It takes 3 years for some guys to come around, look up Gabriel on google saying this. It should be archived from interviews on 670 the score. If he doesn't come around after the year, then they may cut the loss. Bullard was in the same boat, he might not make it this time if they feel a younger player has more upside. The Bears have so much versatility that playing a big double TE front with Montegomery will pay dividends once the run is established early on.
  18. They also lost a future compensation pick with Kevin White being cut by Arizona. That pick may have been needed to fill a position that the Bears now have to sign/re-sign to fit in coming years.
  19. Haven't seen the game, but by the sounds or tweets, we have seen enough of Montegomery to shelf him until the season. Some guys are saying La'veon Bell like. Give him a series a game and keep him healthy.
  20. At least we are not reading reports that everyone is tearing it up and we are a lock to win the superbowl. I would be more worried about that. TC is the time to find problems and to correct them.
  21. Wims keeps it up he could get to #3. Robinson, Miller, and Wims would be nice. Gabriel and Patterson for speed. Ridley and the Halls compete for the final 2. We might get lucky and be able to stash the UDFA Hall on the PS
  22. Good pick. Just read he had the best off season showing in our competitive class of WRs. He will need to carry that into TC to get more playing time opportunity.
  23. Great piece! Pace has done a pretty good job. If he wants to be great, he has to make the next jump on fitting the right pieces into place to replace departing veterans while 3 peating over the Patriots each time.
  24. It all depends on who they sign and the best we would get is a late 3rd.
  25. I believe Montegomery was brought in to be the guy, but also know he will be worked into that role and not have it handed over. Davis was also brought in to have a role and could grasp early playing time as Montegomery gets accumulated. This offense is known to put up great RB numbers. KC has had Jamal Charles, Spencer Ware, Kniles Davis, Chandrick West and Kareem Hunt who all shined when given the chance. I only hope the group we have now can start putting up similiar numbers. Looking at KCs RBs helps me realize how Howard didn't fit, no disrespect because a monster truck racing a nascar on a nascar track isn't a fair comparison. Put the nascar on a hilly truck track and the results are different. So I think Davis will shine early on then once Montegomery takes his place he will move to the 3rd option. Hopefully Davis puts up huge numbers and gets interest from other clubs so we can have the option to trade him. This cutting players has to stop, we need to keep them until FAs if we ever want to get compensation.
