I heard people say he would play out of position since he is prototype DE, so it would be a difficult decision. If he feels capable and wants to come, I would give him a shot.

Might even be able to snag Robert Quinn to help Floyd.

I don't like creating more holes before others are fixed either. If anything, we know Sitton is an above average vet who can get the job done. Is his body breaking down, of course but look at our squad of Long, Kush, and Morgan who all missed more games last season and we are banking on them. It seems like Pace knows he bought himself at least 2 more years and can allow youth/inexperience to grow into these spots. One thing he has done is put out a notice that if you want Nelson, you better trade up.

Not just Nelson, but Wynn, Price, Hernandez all could be in play. The Bears could move down if Nelson is gone and take any of those other 4 to be C or G. I do know the Bears are high on Kush and if Morgan is developed enough it could also be reason enough to move on from Sitton too. I just pray Pace doesn't fall in love with a player and decide to move up again.

I am sure they will meet with all the QB prospects and could draft one. Facebook is coming off injury. I do believe the Bears tried to get an interview with him during the senior bowl and he blew them off saying why would you want to draft me, you just drafting Trubisky. Getting a feel of the player and potential value could be used for the Bears in trading down.

To banged up and couldn't stay off PEDs. He was unreliable.

This will increase the value of tier two WRs.

The crazy part is Clev will probably trade down and gain another future first. They don't seem to care if they get a QB. They do seem to like big names like Peppers and Njoku tho. I would like the Bears to start making moves that gain future firsts or seconds and this might be a good year if Chubb, Nelson, or Fitzpatrick are off the board. As of today, I see the top tier talent only being 4-5 players deep. The rest are grouped from say pick 6 to 15-20. We can only hope a QB is there to give us a chance.

Looks close to what we post. In seen this draft and thought this could work. I like the thought of a big WR and a burner and the developmental LT. The only miss I would want is a starting RT we could have by trading down a few spots.

I agree. Wilkerson is the only one I would think about and really wouldn't want much more than a year or two of him. RRH will be better and we still have Bullard with a little hope.

He should definately be considered. At 19, he is 6'4" to -6-5" and about 250. He can add 15 pounds with NFL strength training and be another Aldon Smith. With Floyd at 6'6", they will have some explosive length on the edge. He is raw, being 19, and will require patience to see results. That will play a factor at pick 8. Someone like Q Nelson can step in starting day 1, where Edmunds will be eased in as a rotational rusher.

Tremaine Edmunds would be an intriguing pick since be could move inside or out for LB. Kind of like Christian Jones but much more athletic.

I don't disagree he will look better with an NFL caliber QB tossing the ball. I just don't see a top 10 pick spent on that position. Just going off analytics, WRs are the riskiest position in the draft to fill. I also think we address the position in FA.

Only way they draft a WR in the first is if they trade down. I dont see Ridley ranked much higher than some later prospects that could be had rd2 through 4.

I like Aaron Lynch and think he could be a possibility especially since he know's Fangio. Houston, Lynch, Floyd, Acho and a draft pick would be a good start. I trust Fangio will have input on another up and coming pass rusher he sees potential in like Edmunds, Davenport, Armstrong Jr etc.

Look at what Jeffrey got $ wise. He has only 360 rec in 6 years as Landry has 400 in 4 years, injuries on Jeffrey hurt him. That is 3.75 rec per game compared to 6.25. The difference is Jeffrey gets 14.8 yds per catch ave to Landrys 10.1. The Bears need a WR they can count on to be open and catch, keep the chains moving and feed Howard again. Adding a speed outside threat like Richardson or Ty Williams would also help. Draft wise, taking Gallup or Ateman with the 4th would make a nice corp.

He looked unstoppable against the cowboys. 6 out of his 9.5 sacks came in that game. He will also turn 31, so be might be too old unless it is a one year type deal to buy time for more drafts.

That draft would be great. Hercules would be a ? because be played most NT and would need to learn different angles, so Carter would be the ideal pick for OLB. Kirk and Ateman would be an awesome mix of speed and size.

He might be the only top WR to hit the market. Otherwise it will be As Adam stated getting Wilson, Lee, Grant.

KC and Hou have the edge imo with more experience. SF and Chi will have more youth who can turn the page quickly. Hopefully we will see a JAX/LAR type turn around. Man I hope the Bears win this, I dont think I can take any more resets.

I am just pointing out McGlinchey would be capable to do it. If Leno plays well and stays healthy, he may never need to. I would rather have a OT like him than a strictly LT or strictly RT for flexibility. Out of the top OTs in this draft, Williams is LT/G. Brown is RT/G. McGlinchey is LT/RT. I think John Tait made the switch a couple times. If I remember right, he had no issues except for wanting enough time to get his footwork right.

I agree. McGlinchey projects at either T and can start right away. He will only improve once he gets on board concentrating on technique and strength. I also like the thought of drafting him and inserting him on the right and letting Leno continue playing left. As he gets his technique and strength in a year or two, he can shift to LT if needed. Having that versataltie makes him more valuable than Leno who is strictly a LT.

Luckily for the 49ers, they had the highest projected cap space with 117 million available. Even with JG taking 27 of that at least, they still have plenty of room to bring some big players in on. I suppose the Bears will always be linked with them since the trade for the 2nd pick, so it will be interesting to watch how these teams develop over the next few years.
