  1. Hard to say, there is always a price tag. I wasn't excited about all those picks but I do like the thought of having 3 top 50 players over getting 1 top 10. That top 10 could be a Kevin White, it's always a gamble.
  2. For fun or torture, I traded pick 7 for Cleveland's 3 2nd rd picks and then traded pick 2-1 from Cle to NE for 2-11 and 2-32. Was hoping one of the top OTs would fall to the top of rd2 or a top OLB, so it failed but improvised. Your Picks: Round 2 Pick 3 (CLE): Billy Price, C/OG, Ohio State ( Round 2 Pick 5 (NYJ): Martinas Rankin, OT, Mississippi State (B+) Round 2 Pick 7: D.J. Chark, WR, LSU ( Round 2 Pick 11 (N.E.): Lorenzo Carter, OLB, Georgia (B-) Round 2 Pick 31 (N.E.): Dallas Goedert, TE, South Dakota State (A-) Round 4 Pick 5: Holton Hill, CB, Texas (A+) Round 4 Pick 15: Josh Sweat, DE/OLB, Florida State (A-) Round 5 Pick 8: Deontay Burnett, WR, Southern California (A+) Round 6 Pick 7: Javon Wims, WR, Georgia (A+) Round 7 Pick 6: Daniel Carlson, K, Auburn (A+) 3 WRs, 6' 170 ,6-3 185, and 6'4 215 gives new targets at x,y,z. Also a flashier TE for two TE sets. I'd sign Allen Robinson to a 1 year deal and re-sign Meredith. Kevin White also sticks.

    Denzel Ward

Seems like a good prospect to bring to camp. Maybe he can become a Nathan Vasher?
  4. Colts are looking like horse s*!t now. They lost out on Nagy by not even offering a deal. They passed on David Toub and now they're screwed over by McDaniels. Who would want to coach there now that they have signed some assistant coaches. We have been through some messes, but this would top them all. The Pats and McDaniels are Jack arses for pulling this, but it is on the Colts too
  5. Brown does on size alone, he has a nearly 7 foot wing span with incredible strength. His foot speed and plays tall won't be anything to brag about but being that large will be tougher for pass rushers to get around, so he could play LT in a pinch if need be. As for Jones, I dont know much about him other than he played LT for OSU last year and reports say he looks more like a RT. I think they should target one prospect suited for LT instead of 2 guys who are slotted for the RT. That is why i threw out Parker. Conner Williams may also drop to rd 2-3.
  6. Looks like he was cut, so he can sign now if he wants. link http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/...to-visit-bears/
  7. Change Jamarco Jones to Brandon Parker and it could work with a RT/LT.
  8. No doubt the guy is a beast among men. If Pace fills the other OLB position and CBs, then it is open game. Right now, we are basically down to Leonard Floyd at OLB. We still have McPhee and Young under contract, but it is hard to see them pay both another year from their past production. Cornerback is another story, I feel the Bears can re-sign Fuller and Amukamara if they want. It is not a shoe in, so they may be forced to consider a Josh Jackson or Ward in the first.
  9. I have a feeling Nagy will be running the offense until Helfrich is capable to take the reins, could be all year or less. The offense will be pieces from all the coaches, but heavy Nagy/Childress imo. It will be interesting to see how it comes about. Just looking at this staff, it has a lot to be excited about. The defense which was growing leaps and bounds while constantly missing key players stays intact. Now an offense that may resemble the Superbowl champs and KCs with many great minds mixed with some new. If Pace hits on the draft and FA, the Bears should make a leap in W's.
  10. That is awesome. Another Andy Reid coach with HC experience to assist Nagy in developing Trubisky. All reports that I have read point that KC really thought highly of Trubisky. Makes me wonder if KC was a team interested in moving up for him. Also, with Pace having an idea how well they liked him helped him in his decision of choosing Nagy.
  11. All of the starters, including Kush are signed to be back next season. I don't see them cutting decent players to save cap while creating a hole/need to be filled. I love the thought of adding Nelson and take him or McGlinchey in many of my mocks, but the Bears will more than likely be drafting a pass rusher or CB in the first. I am a o line guy and still want them building that squad but with Sitton/Massie slated back, the Bears will fill those needs later with potential IMO. Trade down, gain 3rd. 1. Edmunds/Davenport OLB 2. Michael Gallup/Equig St Brown WR 3. Tyrell Crosby RT 4. Brandon Parker LT 4. Holten Hill CB
  12. Butler was supposedly late multiple times. Gronk has suffered numerous concussions and that is a huge factor. He has made money and the thought of losing your mind down the road from those hits has to weigh heavy.
  13. How about Iowa CB Josh Jackson? Seen him ranked a few times top 10.
  14. Another Bears great enshrined. Congrats to Brian. Would love to make the trip to Canton for the game and event. Maybe they give Chicago the HOF game.
  15. If we could fast forward to FA in March, it would clear up the draft a little. I expect them to land a big name early at WR (Landry,Watkins,or Robinson)because its pretty clear that at 8, there isn't a player worthy. This class will be deep with good WRs but in the 2-4 range. OLB may be the Bears biggest need. Floyd, McPhee, and Young are signed. They might even cut McPhee and Young, so the Bear may look to add 3-4 players here. Houston and Acho would be alright to start the depth, but I expect a high end prospect (Edmonds, Davenport, Chubb, Key) and maybe another vet before camp. CB will also clear up in FA, I believe we try to keep both Fuller and Amukamara. If one walks, we have Cooper who hopefully rebounds if he doesn't get cut. We may look early in the draft at Jackson, Fitzpatrick, or Ward too if FA doesn't go as planned so. O-line, we have all the starters signed but might look for an upgrade. Longs health is in question also, so this is a wildcard position. 1. Tremaine Edwards OLB 2. Conner Williams OT 4. Auden Tate WR 4. Holton Hill CB 5. DeSean Hamilton WR 6. Austin Corbett G/T 7. Kicker
  16. I read some scouting reports on him and think he could be a good Fangio project. Wouldn't mind a 5th or later pick put on him
  17. He will be in play come April. If he blows up the combine, he could surpass Chubb. I like the flexibility he has also, which would allow Fangio more disguises and keep offenses guessing. I was hoping he would remain unknown because he was in play as a RD 2 steal.
  18. Many college teams run double TE sets in the spread, especially Oregon. If the Bears were to add one, I would want one to be more like the Greg Olson who can motion out wide.
  19. Nagy is coming from Andy Reid's tree. Reid was one of the best two-tight end play callers in the league, so it wouldn't surprise me to see that on draft day.
  20. What do you think of Tremaine Edwards as OLB? He is climbing the boards fast, a raw 19 year old with size and tremendous athletic ability. Fangio would be able to move him inside or as OLB. Hear some rumbles that he is Urlacherish being 6'5" 250 and similar speed. The drawback is he is raw and may lack instinct. Come April, he will most likely be a name associated with Chicago.
  21. We do need a WR, but round 1 just doesn't seem like the place to take one. This is a deep draft for WR so I think we can get just as good a prospect in rd 2-3 as we would in rd 1. 3 guys I like in that range are Christian Kirk, James Washington, and Anthony Miller. They are smaller guys that can get separation, run routes, and have great hands. Trubisky needs that go to guy first before we find the big red zone or throw up and get it guy. We need one of those also and wouldn't mind doubling up in rd4 with Auden Tate or Michael Ateman. Don't think since we have Shaheen that the Bears won't take another TE high either. I can see them taking a Dallas Goedert TE as a more polished receiving threat if we can gain a 2nd or 3rd by trading down. Sign:Fuller,Amukamara, Daquan Jones DE, and Trent Murphy OLB. 1-Mike McGlinchey OT 2-James Washington WR 3-Dallas Goedert TE 4-Auden Tate WR 4-Ade Aruna OLB 5-Azeem Victor ILB 6-Austin Corbett OT/G 7-Kicker
  22. That is what I meant, meaning Quinn will still play DE on those packages which sometimes happens over half the game. The Bears will need a tweener for those and out of who we have, Houston is the only one I would want back. McPhee is no longer effective and we can hang on to Young but wouldn't mind getting younger too. If we draft one, I think he would need to be big enough to handle playing the DE also, unlike Floyd.
  23. Robert Quinn may be more of a 4-3, but the Bears are in a 4-3 quite often anyways. They need scheme versatility these days. He is not a available as of yet but if he does hit FA they have to take a look at him. He could replace McPhee salary wise while also being healthier. I like what I hear on Davenport. He may sneak into the top 10 as be is starting to get exposure. Will he be a big project getting him up to NFL speed is what GMs will have to consider. His ceiling looks high, but right now his floor will need to elevate to take that high.
  24. His roster bonus is due 3/16. Maybe they will know by then what his status will be. You would assume they will try trade him before that if that is there intentions.
  25. Maybe worth a visit. Read today there is A good chance Robert Quinn...age 27 gets cut. He is owed 13 million and the Rams will be strapped to cut only having 900,000 in space.
