  1. Biggs mentioned Ego Fergusan?
  2. Hate to say it, but I think the Bears liked Nix. My only concern is his knee. He would bring size and plug the middle. Plus when running the 3-4, he'd make a great nose.
  3. Was hoping they went TE. He was one of my original 1st rd selection for the Bears. Still have Tuitt, Nix, and Jernigan.
  4. I see Marques Lee WR going to Cleveland. They are almost forced to with Gordon's suspension.
  5. If we were giving up a future 1st, we should've jumped into the bottom of the first. That would give you a fifth year option on the contract.
  6. Round 2 - in order of preference and in tiers: *Stephon Tuitt DT, *Ra'Shede Hageman DT, *Tim Jernigan DT *Kony Ealy DE, *Louis Nix DT *denotes first round grade Terrence Brooks S, Carlos Hyde RB,Troy Niklas TE, Austin Seferian Jenkins TE Kevin Van Noy LB, Chris Borland LB, Will Sutton DT, Lamarcus Joyner S/CB Round 3 Pierre Desir CB, Stanley Jean-Baptiste CB, Kelcy Quarles DT, DaQuan Jones DT Round 4 Anthony Johnson DT, Walt Aikens CB, Yamin Smallwood LB, Marqueston Huff S
  7. I would not trade a future first round pick. We may have different needs next year and trading away your most valuable asset to gamble on a rookie this year is not wise.
  8. Let's embrace the pick, Fuller is probably the best corner in this draft. I wanted our needs, but we have a good to great CB. Tomorrow we have two more rounds, lets hope we get another good to great player. This D needs youth at all positions and after DE, a shutdown CB is the next most valuable asset.
  9. And my safety crush is crushed, Bucannon to the Cards.
  10. At 20, we still have Dix, Ward. And Bucannon on the board.
  11. If he becomes a lockdown CB, we will all be happy. Donald was my choice, after that I really wanted to trade down. At S I like Bucannon and now hope they have a shot with Dix and Pryor dropping.
  12. I'd luv this pick next year, but I really felt CB was deep. Fuller has been tagged as the best CB in the draft by a lot of pro scouts. I do like Bucannon better than all the other S too, but not we are looking at possibly a 3rd rd DT.
  13. Emeney really? That was a cute pick. Out smarted the league. Sorry kind of let down.
  14. Bears trade? Why not if it costs a 4 or 5?
  15. Don't sweat it, you will be disappointed anyways when they reach for a DE tweener nobody thought about anyways lol.
  16. Don't do that! I was sure the game was tomorrow and about flipped. I want to go to bar/grill to watch and if hockey is on, then I wouldn't get to listen to the draft.
  17. I am optimistic, if Lewan or Matthews makes it to 12, the Giants will take an OLT. They need to protect there biggest investment Manning and help another 1st RD pick Wilson RB. Then it comes down to STL. This draft can go in so many directions.
  18. You must be a saleman!! Because you are selling him, and I like. If he is all that, then he should be drafted top 15 or higher. I still will stick with Donald, Pryor as my one/two, but Mosely slides ahead of CB.
  19. Don't forget Shea, who is at 250 too. I guess I wasn't impressed with his 15 reps. He may turn out as good as a Kuechly, but my gut tells me different. LB is a need with Briggs career winding down, but not RD 1 imo. If the Bears do take him. I will become his biggest fan, I just hope Donald is the pick.
  20. I know there is speculation that LB is a big need and Chicago is known for its great history of MLBs. Going through the last 5 drafts, only 3 MLBs taken round 1. Two are from Alabama, Rolando McClain and Donta Highower, and Luke Kuechly Boston College. Size wise, 6-2 265 for Hightower and 6-3 242 for Kuechly and McClain. With this history, would the risk of taking a smaller Mosely 6-3 234 (15 reps on bench) at 14? Plus he has injury history, which may be because he is almost the size of a SS. The only MLB I feel worthy out of this group is Kuechly, and he is a difference maker/probowler. I'm not saying Mosely won't be good...but, he is small and has average speed, and won't fill the shoes of Chicago likeness. He has a high football IQ and that's helped him excel. My suggestion is draft someone like Zumwalt this year, and reinvest next year. Also having hope that Bostic/Shea can grasp the MLB, because there's not much in terms of blue chip prospects next year draft class either.
  21. I have a mock draft problem, but not "THAT" bad of a problem, were I would pay! LoL Hell, I am already looking at 2015 with a good idea on team needs.
  22. It's all down hill now, Blackhawks tonight anyways! My draft night will be at the Crazy Beaver, having a late dinner and a couple of drinks with fellow Bear friends.
  23. Wouldn't Bucannon and Bailey both be more in the mold of SS? I also see Jernigan going in the bottom half.

    WTF moment

I still think we should take a flyer on one in the later rounds. Tom Brady is due to happen again.

    WTF moment

It could be more smoke to. Encourage teams that need QB to get one in the first two rounds. I think a qb can be groomed from the lower rounds if a team actually spends the time and effort to develop him. I would like to see a team have the regular coaching staff and then development coaches that can spend more time with the younger players.
