They are going to move him to SS, just kidding. He is a good pick, says he over thinks punts at times and is inconsistant on hang time. Needs to get the mental part to catch up to his ability.
I agree also. The Bears lost everything on D and when Briggs went down they lost the captain making the calls. I still have hope for Greene to replace Briggs and Bostic can grow into the MLB.
I am thinking Dion Bailey, I think he can be a solid SS and possible FS if needed. How do you think he would do here if he makes it?
Then I'd like to double up on the Safeties and get Ed Reynolds or Kenny Ladler in RD5.

Raw kid and we have brought in good coaches to develop him. He has talent around him with great leadership, Ratliff/Allen to learn from too. In a year or two we will forget the reach.
Ego Ferguson DT LSU will play 2 technique for the Bears. Haven't heard that term used much, but that is lining up in the middle of the G. New defense, different alignments I suppose.
Emery says Ego wasn't about taking a safe pic, he is taking him because he has a really high ceiling. New dline coach Pasquelari will have to coach him up. Let's hope he is right.
Hate to say it, but I think the Bears liked Nix. My only concern is his knee. He would bring size and plug the middle. Plus when running the 3-4, he'd make a great nose.
