  1. Looking to trade down from the number 8 any takers ATL with all those picks Deltha O'neal can also be had wink wink!!!
  2. Note next 2 picks OT and OG, but if Chris Williams or Ryan Clady fall those guys could solidify the LT position for a long time I just dont think they will make it to us.
  3. I knew Berrian was good but i didnt know losing him is the downfall of the BEARS, no prep before this video we try to retain our own as best as possible but that doesnt mean we spend stupidly.
  4. What is the basis behind Ced will be fine, he's a slow back coming off of a major leg injury, a better line isnt gonna remove his injury prone status. Not to mention he has no heart when it comes to playing football. Some people don't understand the importance of the RB position this year. We have 2 sub-par QB's with no WR's and if Ced performs "fine" I dont think its gonna cut it this year. We need some spectacular production out of the RB and if your banking on us getting lucky with a undrafted FA becoming a superstar like Ryan Grant or Earnest Graham I think we can also do well with a 2nd and 3rd round OT and Guard. RD 1 Mendenhall RD 2 Carl Nicks RD 3 Chilo Rachal
  5. Ok then I'll take the Bengals and the Colts
  6. If Chris Williams is off the board Ced is going to be riding the bench because theres no way we are gonna pass on Mendenhall he is just a beast we need to sign Olivea and trade up with the 2nd and 3rd and get Baker or Albert. So we can still draft Mendenhall at 14. But thats just my wish
  7. Some times two in the same round (Grossman & Haynes )
  8. What im saying is at 14 if we take Otah or Albert we are not getting the best value at the pick. Otah is raw and may take a year to develop and Albert is also raw and an early to mid 20's pick. If Clady or Williams were there at 14 then there would be a legit argument. If we draft Mendehall in round 1 and a tackle and guard in rounds 2 and 3 I would def be okay with that . I don't think its the wrong thing to do or a waste of a pick because you have filled one hole at the right value.
  9. Neglecting the OL would be a horrible move and we should not just be using draft picks on OL but snagging FA cast offs as well. I was all for giving Benson a second chance but with an injury thats going to make a slow back slower and now he can even be labeled injury prone. Mike Brown is injury prone but you know in his heart he wants to be on that field but I can argue against that in Benson's case. He is a bust and for a power running team we are going to need a back to carry the load and a OL that can block which ever is the best value at our draft position should be taken accordingly.
  10. Let Play JA Whats Your Draft Board Look Like. I'd say: Round 1: Jake Long OT Darren McFadden RB Matt Ryan QB Ryan Clady OT Chris Williams OT Rashard Mendenhall RB Jeff Otah OT
  11. The Reason i disagree with Mendehall being a wasted pick is either way we are going to need a true number 1 back. Cedric is a bust, Wolf is a gimmick back, and AP is excellent special teams guy. Im not saying the OL is not important, we need to draft two O lineman but at pick 14 we need to draft the right value. If Chris Williams is not available which is a strong possibility, Mendenhall fills a need at the right value instead of reaching on Otah or Albert to fill a need. So Mendenhall at 14 is not stupid because we dont have a true number 1 back. When you consider all the needs of this team RB ranks very high on that list.
  12. Brandon Albert is athletic enough to play OT and we still havent even seen what Beekman could do.
  13. Born and Raised on the NorthSide but now I reside in Dallas Texas.
  14. I was thinking about trading up but keeping our 1st this year. Trade in the 22-28 range and we could have draft like: Trading maybe our 2nd, 3rd and next years 2nd or 3rd. 1a. Mendenhall 1b. Otah/Albert/Baker/Cherilus 2. traded 3a. traded 3b. Chilo Rachal/Tony Hills/Barry Richardson 4. Josh Johnson 5. Owen Schmitt 6. Adrian Arrington 7. BPA Quality over Quantity
  15. Doesn't he suck like hes supposed to be a turnstyle type tackle.
  16. At least Ricky Williams put up some quality seasons before his drug trip. Benson is a total bust.
  17. There's no way JA goes into this draft without taking 2 OL. The major needs we have OL, QB, WR, RB other than TE, and FB thats every position on Offense Resigning both Rex and Orton reduced the QB need and Marty Booker and development of the young talent at WR, make WR not the highest priority, Cedric Benson is coming off a surgery, hasnt proven anything and in my eyes he is bust but this draft is so deep at RB quality can still be found in early in the fourth. OL on the other hand we have two starters missing with unproven replacements and no real depth at all, that has to be the focus this draft. Although i wouldnt mind takin Mendenhall but thats because i dont want Detroit to have him and deal with him and Adrian Peterson four times a year.
  18. Injuries killed us last year a healthy Defense and true competition at certain positions and I think we are ready to turn some heads.
  19. Sorry but the answers are on the Bears Website
  20. Sorry but he is not gonna make it out of the first round all the injury did was make him the sure fire 3rd RB chosen.
  21. What happens if Mendehall is the real deal. Thats both AP and Mendenhall twice a year. That a little scary to me.
  22. I like the San Fran trade because they are looking for a pass rusher and can easily get Phillip Merling or Derek Harvey before teams like Jacksonville, Minnesota, Washington or maybe Philadelphia do. A first and 5th will do to trade down. 1st Brandon Albert OG 2nd Sam Baker OT 2nd Joe Flacco QB 3rd Jamal Charles RB 3rd Demario Pressley DT 4th Jamar Adams 5th Owen Schmitt 6th BPA 7th BPA
