Su' Filo, Demarcus Lawrence so far so good. 17 picks to go

Kyle Fuller, CB
I will never get over excited or overly depressed about any of the picks since I endured the Wannie era. I love the draft and the guesing involved but usually have no clue what these GMs are thinking so then with this coaching staff I believe lies the answer. John Hoke seems to be considered a good DB coach and he has taken Isaiah Frey the other ok Emery pick and made him serviceable plus he helped ressurrect Jennings career.I'm willing to see what happens because this will be make or break for Tucker and I definitely like that thought when all the money is being spent on defense this off season. If there is no marked improvement he can join Mike Phair and the other guy whose name I can't remember on someone else's staff.

Sickening feeling. ...
Since the new CBA what is a 2nd rd pick at 51 getting now? With a 1st Rd CB and Jennings on a multiple yr deal and Tillman and Hayden on market right deals why would adding a 2nd rd TE you can lock in for at least 3 or 4 years be an unbalance to the money at the position? They can easily cut Rosario again at the end of TC if it is a problem.

Intersesting Comment About Nix By Greg Cosell Of NFL Films
He says that when he watched Nix on film he seemed to be on the ground too much. That is a big no no to DL coaches because they feel you can't make a play on the ground.

Seems like a positive vibe coming from the defensive players.

Deal with it-Donald wont be there
Coming out I loved Dockett and felt he fit here. I feel the same about Donald. Every year I fall in love with a player for the Bears and this year it is Donald. Last year it was Shariff Floyd. The previous year I caused an uproar during college season for proclaiming myself the president of the Alshon Jeffries fan club. I spelled his name wrong and a member of this board nit picked me for it. I turned it into a joke going forward because typing on a pc isn't my line of work. WTBS I liked Michael Haynes and Daniel Manning also based on their performance at The Senior Bowl.

All Florida State draft?
I'm converting SJB to safety because I want the coverage ability.
-
Would you pull a Ditka?
I agree and thats based on the talent in the draft last year. There are several guys who were thought to be top picks last year who stayed in school and are dropping this year. I believe Jake Matthews would have been the number one overall last year.

All Florida State draft?
All Big 10 Darqueze Denard CB Ra Shed Hageman DT Stanley Jean Baptiste CB Chris Borland ILB CJ Fiedorwicz TE James White RB Kevin Pamphile OT I'd have to be pissed with only one DT taken but not to bad.

Middle Linebacker
Just heard Brad Biggs says Mosley is considered a "Yellow" meaning he has injury issues that a lot of teams are concerned with. So don't be surprise if he drops a bit.

Lemon's Shot In the Dark 2.0
I think of Sunseri as a more skilled version of Craig Steltz who I loved coming out of LSU. My problem with doing a mock with Emery as GM is that his board usually is totally opposite of what I'm thinking in RD 1. Then in round 2 he recovers and follows what some of my thinking might be. I guess thats why I'm at my pc and he is where he is. lol

Clueless Hub Arkush Column in the Sun-Times
What's so cool about eveyone's responses is that we don't have a clue what Emery will do. I think thats a good thing. If Matthews is there I'd have to have some team give up smost of this year's and and part of next year's draft to not take him. Last year if he had come out he could possibly have gone #1 overall.

"I will be mad if the Bears take/don't take . . . "
You do realize Emery doesn't make the conventional first round pick! In that same draft he got Alshon so in his first 2 picks he got a pro bowler and in the second draft he got a pro bowler out of his first 2 picks. He raised eyebrows with Shea and Long and got snaps out of both his first and second rounders. I'm not Emery's PR man but thats better than the last GM.

Lemon's Shot In the Dark 2.0
14 Pryor S 51 Easley DT 82 Desir CB 117 Anthony Johnson DT 156 De Anthony Thomas RB 183 Vinnie Sunseri SS 191 Dontae Johnson CB I resisted my QB pick because this is the team that went with 2 QBs on the final 53 man roster. I don't think they'll make the same move this year but they already have 3 they are touting. I'm figuring Easley will be the WTF moment since he is coming of injury but Emery is going for it his way because he knows at his age this may be his only chance to do this.

Middle Linebacker
Yea I noticed you put his reps at the Combine in your post and I have always been on your side with most of your post but, if you have noticed over the years the MLB position has gotten smaller and faster because most of the MLBs are playing in a 4-3 and that may require them to be able to cover and move since most teams start out in 3 WR and 1 back sets.
