  1. Wow! Gordon has been nothing short of incredible since coming back from injury.
  2. Bass misses the XP. And I’m good with keeping Gordon on the outside going forward. Might be ok to keep Johnson opposite him but guess we’ll see.
  3. After going to Monty for a walk in TD a few plays earlier. Until Borom decided to hold. Bottom line, offense looks a WHOLE lot different with Justin running it with confidence. Now…how will the defense fare? ?
  4. Johnson and Vildor out. But Herbert will be back.
  5. Appears Leatherwood, Reiff and Borom have all been practicing on the interior.
  6. Poles looking for some more diamonds in the rough. ‘Bama alum Lewis was a third round pick for the Rams in 2020 and played OLB while with the Crimson Tide.
  7. Encouraging to see/hear but I wouldn’t think Jenkins needs to prove anything right now. Best to wait it out.
  8. Eberflus expected (yesterday) that Herbert would be practicing this week and “would be ready to go” when asked about his status.
  9. Sanborn out rest of year on IR. LB Elijah Lee from Chiefs practice squad signed to fill roster spot.
  10. The preliminary injury report reads like a mass casualty incident. With all these injuries, it’s a wonder the Bears did as well as they did. Of note, besides Jenkins injury Sanborn has what appears to be an ankle injury, Johnson had a rib injury late in the game and Fields’ brief departure was due to cramps. *Jenkins was recently released from the hospital. Definitely a good sign considering.
  11. Not to nitpick, but on the play it looks like it was intended to go inside; Reiff pulled there behind Jenkins and Jenkins' head was to the inside. Montgomery looks like he sees the inside closing up and decides to run outside but I also notice Kmet is blocking down, right into the path of Reiff. Maybe Rieff was meaning to get to the second level but on an outside play like that wouldn't he have continued behind instead of in front of Jenkins and Kmet? I ask only because if outside, then Jenkins had his head on the wrong side which probably contributed to his stinger.
  12. It's not like he plays in the "Windy City" or anything... I've become pretty disappointed of Santos as of late. My wife somehow recalled he was out for 'personal reasons' earlier this season and wondered if maybe that affected him somehow. He hasn't been the same since, I'd have to agree.
  13. Thought I’d jump on your post Eagles thoughts and add what I found on the interwebs this AM. Cool shit…(and this is with third and fourth tier WRs).
  14. Good follow up of what occurred. Embedded summary in the tweet.
  15. I had read elsewhere that he went head to head with someone then fell immediately to the ground. Right before the commercial afterwards he was seen on the ground face down kicking. Anytime you have something from the shoulders up happen like this, it’s a potential career changer/ender. Gotta hope the best for him, especially just in general ‘life after football’.
  16. “Encouraging news” about Jenkins. But my guess he’s done for the year. Maybe time to see how Leatherwood does as Guard?
  17. Don’t think he’s fully redeemed himself in my eyes. If he’s expecting a big payoff coming up I’m not sure he’s earned it. Maybe try Gordon on the outside (instead of Jaylon Jones) going forward to get a better evaluation there? If Gordon does well enough then you look FA or draft for another CB candidate. ??‍♂️
  18. Had the Bears tried for that earlier FG they’d only be down by 2…for the moment. And may have not done that darn onside kick. Should’ve kicked it deep with the way the D has been playing. IMHO of course.
  19. Absolutely. So glad he came back. Building on that legendary status.
  20. Cody Parkey lives on in the form of “doinked” FGs. Weird that it was against the Eagles when he made that infamous double doink a few years ago…in Chicago. Hmm.
  21. He did have a nice catch and run earlier in the game. But his errors outweigh his positives so far
  22. And Jaylon Johnson on an Alaskan Grizzly redemption game with a spectacular stop on 4th down. Lol!!!
