  1. V. Jones with a crucial fumble. I’m concerned about this kid going forward .
  2. Joe Thomas is the answer. With a nice stick and stop on Hurts to eventfully stop the Eagles drive.
  3. And now Adams…in for Sanborn…down. Who’s left in the Lb room?
  4. It’s like they read your post. TD pass was exactly that. Short quick dump to Montgomery after Fields run attempt to the opposite direction the play before.
  5. Third Eagles turnover (two involving Kyler Gordon) and the Bears convert it for a TD. Good job guys…what’s left of the team anyhow.
  6. I can’t remember, was Leatherwoods weakness going in pass blocking? He certainly emphasized that today if so. His run blocking not so bad…. Is there hope for him?
  7. I’ll hold off on judging the coaching staff yet. Most everyone had the Eagles blowing out the Bears. Aside from the blown blitz call, the defense has certainly held their own. An earlier stat showed Hurts had 3 INTs over the course of 13 games, today he’s got 2. If you consider the offense is patchwork (especially on the line) and the defense has three (?) rookie starters who are all contributing to the positive, you’ve got a great base to build on.
  8. I take it back. Leatherwood struggling mightily with Reddick.
  9. Word!!! All he’s doing is cementing his legendary status in Chi-town.
  10. Speaking of incredible! Justin with a HUGE gain followed up by a run-in by Montgomery. And I might add, Leatherwood has looked solid since he came in.
  11. And Jaylon Johnson with an amazing PD in the endzone! (Eventually causing an FG). I have a little more faith in him now.
  12. Yeah I changed my thought when I saw him on the cart leaving. Usually with a leg injury they are sitting upright on the cart. He was prone flat on his back so they were trying to keep his upper c-spine stable. *edit: if there were a silver lining, he didn’t leave directly in an ambulance. Seen players get picked up off the field directly in the more serious situations. Still a neck injury for a big guy like this…not a great thing.
  13. I’m sorta a wimp when it comes to them showing injuries but if I had to guess some upper body (head/neck) injury? It looked like he was prone on the cart so they were trying to keep upper area stable.
  14. 2 false starts and a first down conversion by Justin. ESB down with what looks like a concussion. So much for the big body WRs. And now Jenkins down with what looks like a significant injury… man the team is taking a beating already. Started out down a number of players… sheesh.
  15. Oops. Thought I had seen Herbert was back. Not this week
  16. Yeah, just watched a preview video and forgot Pringle was on the team. He can be good if he wants to. And Kmet has really been coming along well. Then Monty and Herbert are both back in the backfield together. On defense you’ve got Brisker back and the emergence of Sanborn and Blackwell is making people take notice. My confidence has been restored.
  17. Harry out today. With him, Claypool and Mooney all out I’m less confident of my hot take a few days ago. ? *edit: still sticking with a win by a slim margin ??
  18. Duke Shelly making a name for himself today in the Minny/Indy game. Two significant stops late in the game.
  19. Imagine being either a Vikings or Packers fan right now. Vikings look good when it comes to ‘win-loss’ record this year but don’t have what it takes to make a deep playoff run…and they have Kirk Cousins. At least they’re not locked in with him (as much) as GB is with Rodgers. GB, I think, is done for for a few years. Love is at a make or break decision point (going into his fifth year rookie contract) and Rodgers still has how many years on his newly signed contract?
  20. I hope all the best for Claypool. I would really like for him to succeed in Chicago. He’s one of those ‘big body’ receivers in a fan of (also a HUGE fan of Harry’s for the same reason). I’m a little concerned because of the rumors we’d heard about his maturity issues before coming here. That and he didn’t like playing slot (as Pittsburgh had him found just before he left). But Chicago has let him play outside and so far on the field he’s done ok. Maybe he’s another Tevin Jenkins situation? A player who just needed some good coaching? Next year is a deciding year for him so I sure hope he figures it out.
  21. I was thinking this was the first time in a long time when I remember all the NFC East having a winning season. Usually they’re one of the worst with someone having to make the playoffs only because they’re the division leader. And that team had a 5-7 or similar record. So far all four are slated to make the playoffs.
