  1. Again, not even close. Mariota just completed his 5th year.
  2. It's not about their individual stats. For starters, Trubisky knows the offense and he knows how to run for his life. Small miracles happen but it's not likely our line will be more than average this year. Add in the 2nd rounder and the scales tip the balance toward Mitch. Carr commands a decent salary that we cannot afford. If we take that on, many holes don't get filled with free agent money. Lastly, you don't throw your developing QB away for Derek Carr. It's not even close.
  3. If you believe that, you have lost all credibility with me.
  4. In know way does Derek Carr make us BETTER than our second rounder.
  5. Burton and Horstead will be the Y's. Maybe a draftee too.
  6. Jake from State Farm is better than Fromm.
  7. He's 230 lbs. He must use it well. He looks chiseled.
  8. Ben Bredeson is the stuff of that group.
  9. Nice work. I definitely agree.
  10. Here's another draft I love. Couple of trades.
  11. Look at Cohen closely. He's not even ready to receive said pass. That outlet guy is supposed to move to make himself visible and create the throwing lane. Terrible on Leno, Cohen and Trubisky. Trubisky could have hit him with sky hook at that short of distance. I mainly blame Cohen.
  12. I really like that draft Ashkum.
  13. That play is a straight Trubisky run. 6 blockers and a man rush. 8 defenders against 4 receivers is impossible. Tuck and run or throw it away. Anything else is disaster.
  14. I'm thinking Andy Dalton would be a good backup. He's average enough to where fans won't be chanting his name at every turn of a game and good enough to fill in and win. It's also big plus that he's not over the hill, so he can start if we decide to part ways with Mitch, buying us time to groom the next one.
  15. I see Vic Beasley way low on the list. That type of pickup intrigues me.
  16. I love all of you guys contract and cap knowledge. What is the hit? I always thought of you traded a player that the annual cap hit transferred. Not my strong suit...
  17. https://www.totalprosports.com/2020/02/12/rumor-bears-thinking-of-trading-khalil-mack-to-washington-redskins-for-2-overall-draft-pick/ I think I would...
  18. I know this is beating a dead horse, but Pace has absolutely killed us with his frivolous trading of picks. It not only effects the pipeline of talent, but the salary cap as well. We really need to hit on these next two drafts or we are in big trouble. That being said, I'm all in on trading down. If we can get 5 third rounders for our two 2nd rounders that would be a coup. Not much difference in talent for much greater value.
  19. Completely disagree. Leno had a terrible year, no doubt. But, he has played better in the past and can do so again. He is simply a player that has to work harder than the rest to be effective. If he trains harder this off season, he can regain form.
  20. One thing Kyle said, is that Leno knows he has to work extra hard to be an NFL caliber tackle. IE: talent is marginal and he needs to make up for it with extra effort. Again, if Hiestand wasn't bought in, that makes it really tough for a guy on the bubble.
