I've seen 3 different coaches stated to be the next coach of Houston. McCown, Flores and Lovie. I don't think anyone knows.
-
DL coach also.
-
I think J. Johnson would be considered a plum. EJAK was, maybe he can get back there.
-
So my first predictions are resigning Daniels and getting Orlando Brown. Brown will be the only big signing. I expect we draft a couple of WRs and cut Cohen. With that money bring back Grant (speed). So Mooney, Newsome, Grant will be the start of the WR group. Kmet, Monty any Herbert will be our offense going forward. Expect cheap signings to fill in the defense, one 20 mil contract will blow our cap up.

You have to take with a grain of salt what is other peoples opinions and what's true. They have no idea what Poles thinks. In the video the guy hesitates before he tells you what Poles thinks. I took a body language class, that is clearly an indication he doesn't know and has to make something up. The note he got? Only 5 people in the room. Someone passed him a note? He never talked to anybody. First we are changing the blocking scheme. Second he likes mobile and physicality. Whitehair and Jenkins fit that mold. Bosom has only been here one year, they are still evaluating him. Daniels may be a better player as a OC. In the beginning his problem was play calling not blocking. Daniels was considered the best center prospect that yr. I think because the line has so many issues last year that Daniels didn't earn a big paycheck. Give him a 4 year- 26 mil and put him at OC. Next Poles will decide to pay Orlando Brown 20mil a yr .and put him at LT or draft one. If that's the decision, Jenkins plays RT and can Boron be our RG going forward? I think Whitehair is safe at LG. IMO Brown-Whitehair-Daniels-Borom-Jenkins will be our line. Borom and Jenkins are on cheap deals, Daniels won't be expensive. The perfect scenario to go out and pay Brown. Once the oline is fixed, he won't have money to pay a WR , so there will be a couple drafted. KC has big cap issues, they won't be able to pay Brown the money he wants. I think paying Brown (26) and bringing back Daniels at OC fixes the line. What say you.

I think the key to any offensive scheme is to adapt to your talent. That's why Nagy isn't here anymore, it was all scheme centric. His best yr was when he dumbed it down for Mitch.
-
I think he was looking for10 mil for 10 yrs and when Minnesota wouldn't offer that, he's staying at Michigan. He wanted a Gruden contract.
-
Look at the QBs they had last yr, Mike Glenn started 5 games. I also think Eddie Jackson could be a perfect fit for defense, if he becomes aggressive again. Matt values TOs.
-
In 2018 , Nagy was coach of the year, we seem far away from that right now. Everyone was praising how good Flores is, and their NFL record are almost identical. I tink if he goes where their is a very good vet QB, he'll do fine. Not in Detroit thou

If we go by the GMs own words, he's addressing the oline first. I would Say to be realistic, may be able to add a couple extra picks with trade backs. So with 7 picks, 2 oline picks. Will add speed with WRs and DBs. Should be able to add 2 starters and two more that contribute the first yr. If he can get a OT, maybe move Borom to guard. Or draft a new OC or OG and move Daniels to OC if they resign him. Then a starter at CB and two WRs that contribute.
-
Wow all A+, I've did them a 100 times and my highest was 48000. how many trades? Had to be at least 2. No CBs. Olave and Pierce would be huge.
-
Being optimistic is always my path, so I will look for the positive vibe and ignore the criticism for a couple of years.I always like brass that value the oline.
-
He is notorious for wearing his welcome out where ever he goes. I think its best for Fields that grows with the coach. If successful, long term coach and stability for 10 yrs. I'm okay with what went down.
-
As OC he will shout out for a number1 WR. No way we're spending money on Adams. Can Christian Kirk be that guy?
-
Last year as a 3-4 scheme team, 60% of our plays had a 4 front. I think we have 4 DEs on the roster right now, Mack, Quinn, Gibson and Edwards. DTs , Tonga, Blackson, and London. We need a 3 T and MLB. Obviously DBs. The new coaches have a good base for the defense to work with.
-
We look at it as Mack and Quinn are getting older, get what you can for them. Flus mouth is watering , what can he do with two premium pass rushers. He has never had that. There contracts prohibit them from being traded. If we trade Mack this year, we have to take an Instant 30 mil cap hit. Quinn would cost 13 mil. We are not going to take away valuable cap space for future picks. Those trades will never happen for aged players.
-
If you cut Goldman post June1, you save 8.8 mil. That might be enough foe Hicks for 1 yr. Or Nichols for 2yrs. My problem with Hicks is he will only play 10 to 12 games, been hurt 3 yrs straight. We have a D L coach as our head coach, what he did for most of his career, would like to know hi input on personal. 2 OL running the team, I think they will know how to build lines.
-
Poles was part of the process that overhauled the KC OL so I see him making that his first priority. Next would be playmakers for Fields. I think we will only be bringing in one high priced FA, if not Ryan Jensen then a WR. It won't be ARob, Adams or Godwin. So Mike Williams seems like a fit, big WR. 12 to 15 mil a Year? I can see them cutting Cohen and using that money to bring back Grant. Other names I like Christian Kirk, Michael Gallup, Bryon Pringle and Zay Jones.
-
For their age and money, I don't see getting value for them unless you find a Rams type team trying to go for it. Poles was a OL and Flus has always been a DL coach so I see them looking at them as a value not a liability.Miller went to Rams on a vet minimum for one year, you're going to have to pay big money for Mack or Quinn.
-
Glow must have played for Nelson while he was hurt. Personally, I would like them to resign Daniels and play him at OC and bring in a physical guard for RG. You should be able to find one at 39 in the draft.
-
He will apply his scheme but adapt to his talent. Mack and Quinn can play DEs , Blackmon the nose tackle spot. Could they bring back Bills Nichols for the 3 technique spot? Jaran Reed is a FA from KC , would he fit better? Smith is going to be the will LBer, but who plays MLB? Also Gibson was a down DE in college so not AA reach for him at DE. I hope Goldman is gone, never played the same last yr.
-
I heard he wants to call plays and GB wants him to stay but LeFuier does that job. Hackett will be in Denver. Tada Chicago. I read they will offer him the OC job and want Pep to be the QB coach and passing coordinator. Same job he had with Houston.
-
Was Glowinksi a starter?
-
Being the first coach picked, we have a larger group to pick from. Will urn out well.
-
Definitely, both lines will be thought of. He may like Jenkins and Borom. I can see him bringing back Daniels and a OC or RG depending on where Daniels will play.
