Another player I like is Leighton Vander Erst / he played in the middle a lot but has the measurables to play any LB spot. Probably a second round guy.

I seen where Rams are probably going to tag Joyner instead of Watkins. So we have a chance at Watkins and Trumaine Johnson which will cost the same as Fuller and I trust more. So if we can get Watkins and Wilson as our Wrs then grab a Johnson and Melvin for CBs as our new FAs that would be huge.

The scenario now is only by trading for him. We are not going to give up a 2nd round pick for a to expensive WR just because it's an upgrade. He will not be got for a fourth and we don't have a third.

You might as well just start the fire Pace post. Last year Pace drafted well but failed in FA. I like that we may have a QB and that the coaching hires could be great but we just don't know yet how it will turn out. I think they are trying to establish youth going forward that can grow with the maturation of MT.It is not good to try to establish continuity with a player you will have to replace in one year that has missed games 2 years in a row. Let's see what their plan is before we bitch. They already have one question mark with Long, not good to have to replace 2 if injured.

The best ILB out there is probably Zack Brown/28 that fits Pace's MO young and ascending. Another name is Avery Williamson/ Tenn. Also they know the development that Nick Kwiat is gaining so they may not do anything but resign Chirstian Jones to backup and bring in another prospect.

Ranking on players are all over the board. They will prove itself out before and after the draft for it is more of a crap shoot than a true rating system. For me at our spot, I think Edmunds will be there and should be our pick. I love Q. Nelson and think he is a special talent, but in replacement value compared to Sitton, it minimizes drafting him. At 19 Edmunds has huge upside at a position of great value in any defense. I have seen nowhere that Fitzpatrick is viewed as less than a top 5 player.
