I try to talk myself into, the Packers aren't very good but they are. This game will define how far we have come this year. Winning is all that will matter.

However the draft went,accordingly to their plan, we got the thunder to go with Swift that has shown we have two good RBs. Brown may have some value going forward but I think they will draft one late in the 2026 draft.

DJ is showing his value with Rome being injured. He's now a target that Caleb is looking for. IMO, next year I think we have a SB run so I don't think their trading offensive weapons. I think, unfortunately, Edmunds may be the big money guy traded. Demarco Jackson was given PPF defense player of the week. We can sign Jackson for 4 to 5 mil where Edmunds will have a 17.4 mil cap hit. In a trade we can pick up 15 mil in Cap space. They drafted Hyppolite that will be in the picture. I also think , both being 27, they may just redo Edmunds (last year of contract) next year. He was playing like a pro bowl LBer and since next year will be a SB run, keep him around. It's obvious, DA knows how to use him. The key for next year will be bringing back Byard, Gardener-Johnson and maybe DuShon. Wright. G-J can play SS. Don't forget Terrell Smith is still around and was playing well. People like Dayo and Jarrett cost to much without big performances. Doubt anyone trades for them . As I've stated before, lots of contract reconstructions and the draft will probably be our options for 2026.

None of the games will be easy but I am starting to think we could win our last 3 games and get home field advantage. We have the mojo, getting healthier, Ben Johnson, and Caleb getting ready to breakout. Call me an optimist, actually I am.

Both Judkins and Henderson went before our pick at 39. If Poles would have wanted them he would have traded up a few spots to get them. We have to give Poles credit for playing the draft the way he did. First 3 picks have (IMO) 2 potential pro bowlers and a starting LT. Monongai is a top 3 rookie running back picked in the 7 th round. Injuries has effected the rest of the class but Newman and Turner look like potential starters coming. I think they had Swift and they wanted the thunder guy, I think Skattabo was the target in the 4th and went before our pick.

Caleb pushes back on Shady McCoy for saying S Sanders would play better than Caleb in Sundays game. Caleb gives him crap and I love it.

Edmunds is the easiest one to transition from to pick up a big chunk of money. The other choice is ask him to restrure his contract. Edwards isn't getting paid a big contract, Jackson would have to be the MLB.

If traded, they will be around draft time, not post 6-1. I don't think they trade DJ, more like restructuring his contract. Edmunds may be the odd man out with the play of Jackson. If they want to keep any of the big contracts, I see many restructuring before they trade them.

Swift has played like a nunber one RB in this league. This thread will not age well.

It's rare for a rookie to have a big impact his first year ,I agree with that but that's where we need to see growth for players in our system already. Booker is starting to make plays, Dayo comes back, if healthy maybe we see why Poles seen in him . Joe Tryon -Shoyinka has had some moments.

We didn't really know what to expect but had positive vibes when we hired BJ. We had questions about LT, the running game and the pass rush. Will Caleb be better? At 10-4, I think it's fair to say we have one of the best offensive minds in the league. LT appears to have a prospect. The running game is clearly better than most expected. We still need more pass rush of which I think we will address in the draft. There won't be anymore big free agent signings and trading for a big salary, it won't fit our Cap. Booker seems to be coming around, hopefully a Dayo (not injured) can give us help because his contract doesn't allow us to get rid of next year. I think we will be drafting a DE, DT and S at the front on the draft, it's probably the only help we have coming.

With these injuries, the Packers are favored by 3 points, Vegas still doesn't believe.

We can only play the players the other team puts on the field. It's about wins and if we have an easier path, so be it.

I've been sleeping and waking up to comments. Odds of us ever having a perfect game is small but I'll take an not perfect win of 31-3 every day. A lot of people speak of being 10-4 , we haven't played a lot of good teams. I don't care. What I see week to week is we are capable of playing well against anyone. I hope we go 3-0 to finish the season but 1-2 or 2-1 would be okay as long as we beat the Packers and make the playoffs. We are starting to get healthy overall as a team as other people lose people. Poles found Wright, G-Johnson, D Jones, Joe Tryon-Shoyinka even played well today. The combo of BJ and Poles is starting to look Super Bowlish.

We lead the league in missed games for players in the league. So we can only play the team in front of us. We have played games with 6 starters out on defense and no one said they wish we were healthy. Caleb had a good game , We ran the ball well, and TOs. BJ said we will be playing our best ball in December. Sure Cleveland isn't a good team but their defense is third in the league with the top pass rusher and it didn't slow us down.

We got to 10 wins, won 31-3 and left some points on the field. I'm good.

The game comes on at 1 AM in Pattaya. I'm at a 24 hour sports bar. They have soccer on every TV. They have 15 , I'm going to have to fight with the Aussies to be able to watch the game. I'm prepared to be very annoying until I get my way.
