I believe this draft pick wasnt well vented and was a Al Harris recommended draft pick. It has nothing to do with Poles feelings. It comes down to he has made bad decisions and some good ones. To ignore the good ones doesnt give you a proper evaluation. When you put it on a scale, rate it however you like, that doesnt mean everyone has to agree with you. I am not alone in my C grade for our GM. You act like I want the team to be terrible, that's not even rational thinking. Cut or trade players , for me, I look at the roster as a whole and it looks pretty good to me. I have no idea how old you are but I've been living a Bears fan since the mid 1960s and it has not been good. That doesnt mean I should not have the hope BJ and the team as a group will not be good. \ The most important draft picks are the first round. Colston Loveland-Caleb Williams-Rome Odunze-Darnell Wright. So far these seem to all be good picks. 2nd round Luther Burden-Ozzy Trapilo-Shemar Turner-Gervin Dexter-Tyrique Stevenson-Brisker and Gordon. The jury is still out on some of these picks but the arrow is pointed up.

Zak Frazier was a 5th round pick so if he never plays a game, those picks miss all the time. I am curious on what's going on in a personal nature? It cant be something criminal or the local pundits would have picked up on that already. I would think if a mom or dad died they probably would explain that. What else could it be? Does he have cancer? Was it a mental disorder?

I understand the criticism that Poles gets , the third round seems like a black hole as far as the draft but will give him credit for finding later round picks and UDFAs. Poles is not alone on misses if you look at other teams cuts. Some first round, second round also were cut. Cole Strange-Keyon Greene-Isaiah Foskey. Bad drafting is one the worst mistakes a football team can have but I remember a Bear pundit say it takes 3 yrs to judge a draft. Quick judgements sometimes looks different 3 yrs later. Rosters are developed by draft picks, FAs, UDFAs and trades. Say would you want about Poles but I think we have a strong roster in his 4th as GM. Poles will not be remember for his 3rd round misses but drafting Caleb Williams and hiring BJ as the coach. He also fixed a bad Cap situation when he got here.

No, but I would jump on that in a heartbeat. In a keeper league Im in, we have one keeper and lose the round they were drafted in. My question: I have Bowers in the 7th or Bucky Irving in the 16th, who would you keep? Obviously Bowers is a lot better player but I can still get a good player at 7 where 16th round never gets a high end player.

We are only going with 3 RBs so I would expect us to claim someone. A Bears pundit brought up something I didnt think about but are we going to see DJ Moore getting 50 rushing carries this year? Surprised they kept Chris Williams, Hardy and Robinson, I didnt think they all would make the cut. Im glad Jahdae Walker made the roster. The only thing I am concerned about is the health of JJ, I think LT and DE will end up being okay whoever emerges as the dogs. I wish one of the young guys made it instead of Johnathan Owens, I didnt think he played well last year.

Him and Dexter came in at the same time. Dexter reformed his body and has gotten better. Pickens had some nagging injuries and blah. You never know what's in the hearts of players.

Damien Martinez/RB is getting cut by Seahawks. I kinda wanted us to draft him.

Lots of pundits nervous because of only two healthy RBs. First I think they know the health of Monangai , RJ, and Homer enough to cut some of their RBs. I thought Wheeler looked good but they must like Britt Brown better. I think they will bring Wheeler back to the PS but maybe another teams cut may be more desirable than him. I think they will add some names not already on the team. I doubt they will be any LTs of value cut because of the importance of the position but DE may have some talent available. Britt Brown looked okay , what is your opinion? Cam Akers got cut, anyone like him?

I bought his name up for the reason they are trying to trade McFadden. AZ understood the post but of course, you have to question every word I print.

I think Newman has showed well in the preseason. He played well against Cris Jones. He will make the 53 man roster. I cant see them getting rid of Kiran A. either. He's not showed well but still has lots of potential.

As much as all that sounds good, I will wait to see a full year to sort of grade them. I also heard Banks looked good but is all of that just preseason hype to s a certain extent? Simmons was the 32nd pick and Ersery was pick 48. Lots of people praise rookies because they usually are compared to who they drafted to replace. The season starts in two weeks, so now the real snaps count so we get real looks at every rookie.

going forward I dont think we are going to be having major FA signings anymore. Our Cap is topped out , so we will add by draft or lesser FAs hoping they find a diamond in the rough. So the drafts over the last few yrs have to be our core with maybe one or two high draft picks added every year. That is the reality of where we are right now.

It is definitely a different vibe this year. Everything you said will make a difference but every time we have a setback fans resort to a lack of trust. I think by the bye week, we will start seeing our future but we will have mishaps along the way.

I seen posted by someone I never heard of that we traded for AZEEZ OJULARI/DE from the Giants. I never trust any news anymore unless i see it posted by several sources. Anyone else have info on this?

I think he has the potential to be the LT, but I think the coaches think he just isnt comfortable there yet. As bear fans, we always see the OL have injuries and need more that 5 starters to last a season. The season will dictate what positions will need to get the most attention in next years draft. With all the losing over the years its hard to trust the management to get it right but I do sincerely think BJ will change everything going forward. You had the right positions that need attention but players get better and maybe they will get better with the roster we have.

I dont usually look at the Viking websites but do a lot of GB content. I always like to see what pundits and fans think of their teams as we do here. This article is a good view of Viking flavor. There is one podcast that has a fan from each fan base that discusses the NFC North and it gets interesting. I'll try to find it and post it. Of all the fan bases you can guess which one has the most inflated egos.
