I am not saying to teach him a lot of running back strategy...I am saying more on how to be a successful NFL running back...and not freak up...(aka Salaam, Enis, Benson) AP is hardly a successful NFL running back....I wouldn't even put TJ in that category even though he is a "solid" RB...

I really wish I could have been at the OTA today and seen the whole lovie sending him home thing go down...

If you are a professional sports player you have the money to take a taxi.... If you are a professional sports player and have had a few drinks....you should take a taxi plain and simple especially after what had happened five weeks ago....it shows horrible judgment and lack of respect for the team....just like his attitude on the field.. get the hell out of here and let the door hit you on the way out...

I don't see anyone on here saying Orton is "Great" some of us just think that if given the chance to use a real offense he may work out better than Rex and be more consistent.

Exactly how I feel, we really don't know if he can lead the offense or even throw down field for that matter because they always seem to turn into a pop warner offense when he is in there. But like I said before he seems to be smarter with they way he handles pressure, and this just might be because of his height advantage over Rex. Rex may see it so late because he can't see over his line.

When Orton feels pressure he steps up in the pocket and makes a throw or throws it away. When Rex feels pressure he runs back 20 yards and either fumbles or takes a sack. That is why I want Orton to start.......

Apologies...maybe it wasn't you, but there is someone on this board that brings him up in every damn thread there is.....I agree with you about the hard worker thing, but the Rudy syndrome only works in college..in the NFL you need talent to go along with work ethic....I am a Ced hater as much as the next guy (look at my sig for gods sake)...but I don't think you cut a RB to bring in a hard working WR, its a waste of a roster spot....Forte hasn't proven shit yet, we have a mediocre RB that had a decent season in the past...Yea Rhodes has had some decent seasons, and ran all over us in the SB, but that doesn't mean we should pay Benson just to cut his ass....make his ass do some work and maybe somewhere he will find a heart for this game...(and open his eyes)
