I think we're in pretty good shape considering our financial situation and a limited draft. We added speed = 3 WRs , Kmet, Graham and Harris that makes the TE room better. A new QB, Patterson is going to be RB2 with Cohen the specialty back. One of the UDFAs may make the roster. The oline is still a question but they have new faces and holdovers that may take a step forward. Defense has depth at CB, S, OLB plus the front already did. Johnson, Quinn and Gibson may actually be better than who they replaced last yr. There were better options than players we picked up but with the money we had, Pace has did a good job. The only screw up was paying Graham …

F*%k this team. An absolute poverty franchise. We all could see this coming a mile away. They had to move on from Flus or they would be repeating the same thing they did for the last 2 1st round QBs, and they did it AGAIN. Now it is going to burn at least another year of Caleb's rookie deal in a partial rebuild year as this one is lost. GB 45 - Shitty Team 6

It's all over the twitter... Jahns in particular caught my eye

I literally havent found anything

in the last two weeks we have been man handled twice won a game that felt more like a loss than a win. where do we begin putting humpty dumpty back together.... I honestly don't know where to begin. Let's face this is a wreck of a team. When Lovie took over we had a strong defense and no offense. Over his time here his staff took over a talented defense and rode that to a Super Bowl. Now that that D has declined and an offense crippled by poor offensive line play, poor play calling, poor execution. An overall team attitude of a team that has no heart, no discipline, outside of a few players I don't see a lot worth saving. 1. I have to ask as they were…

Story in very telling of what a good front office thinks of Webb. http://www.chicagotribune.com/sports/footb...0,1441492.story

Kevin Jones hosted a workout for NFL suitors and only four teams showed up. Just so the suspense does not kill anyone, the Bears were not in attendance. Strangely enough, the steelers were there. I found that odd after they just let go of Davenport. Here's the link. http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=3465537

Three year deal. They must be really worried about Knox's status.

Sorry Adam, I've been waiting but we gotta get this in gear. I don't expect much with Whitehair and Montgomery out this week. Things will only be tougher on Fields in the passing game and without Montgomery this week we'll struggle again to get the tough yards (3rd and short) where Herbert struggles. However the Vikings, despite being 3-1, are bottom third in both pass and run defense so they don't appear to be as good as they were in years past. They are also going through a transition to a new scheme under our former coach Ed Donatell. Just like us there are likely some growing pains. On offense they are 21st in rushing yards, but 12th in pa…

It's not signed sealed or delivered yet, but it sounds like Dennis Allen is our likely DC. He's been a head coach twice, so it's not likely he will get another head coaching job soon. He's an aggressive coach who wont sit back in zone all the time. We will live and die by this, but at least our players will get the chance to compete and dominate. Here's an article about his scheme that goes pretty deep in details. https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-new-orleans-saints-dennis-allen-defense-buccaneers-tom-brady-week-15-2021

Brandon Moore was the starting RG for the Jets the past 4 years or so and was cut to save cap. He's a great run blocker and would be a perfect replacement for Garza (who needs to go). He's only 28 and has only been playing the OLine for about 6 years and still has room to improve.

Looks like FaceTime calls have taken the place if the old “top 30” visits. Saw the Bears talked recently to safeties Jeremy Chinn and Antoine Winfield, Jr. figured we could put more in this thread as they are reported.

TO is now a Seahawk for the year, he cans still run a 40 in 4.45.

They ran Wolfe up the middle again, a couple times.

Jordan palmer announced via Twitter he's been released. Kinda surprised on this. Just a guess here but I'm thinking both palmer and Edwards will be released and we will sign a 3rd qb to the PS. Maybe Rodgers

Favre should NEVER play for the Bears, or the Vikings for that matter. Vomitous was the word he used. I completely agree. It's vomitous to consider the idea if you are a Packer fan losing Favre, or a Bears fan possibly gaining Favre. I know it's completely unrealistic, and will never happen, but it's mostly because Favre should be smart enough to know that playing for either the Bears or the Vikings would be a gut-punch to all his most loyal fans. With that said, have Bears fans become so desperate for a competent offense that they are willing to push aside decades of a heated rivalry, decades of genuine anger and hatred, to sign a guy who has continually rip…
