Bears should just hire Shoen and Dabol. Seriously I don’t want to over think this. Bills have drafted well, made good trades, run a good team. Don’t get cute and take the two Bills guys. Than see if Dabol can go lure Fangio to be DC :).  I want Dabol building an offense around Fields. I also want Dabol bringing Ken Dorsey with him too!

I don't have a clue what the game plan must have been but if my starting RB (Forte) has 18 yards on his first 2 carries and had 205 last season against the same team the last time we played them,why not call his number until they stop him that first drive was a thing of beauty with him scoring the TD to finish the drive. At the half he was averaging 6.4 yards a carry. So IMO those sacks in the first half are not 100% on the OL and Cutler, I put them on Tice. On the pick Cutler threw,it was a 1 man route and max-protect that allowed the defense to basically quadruple cover the one WR in the route Marshall. Who called that play.? Tice. This guys gets paid millions to be available on 16 days a year. If he is out one of those games because of something non-football related, I think he should be fined a game check. I know it sounds harsh, but he's being paid to play the game. He's not being paid to play it unless, ya know, he's got other stuff going on.

I talked to my friend today, as I thanked him for the Trestman information. He let me in on another thing: expect them to hire Pat Meyer, who is the OL/Running Game Coordinator at Colorado State. There hasn't been a title given yet but expect him to be a RB coach or maybe the OL coach even. Sometime in December, he was hired by the Alouettes.

2012 C Garza G Carimi G Brown T Webb T Scott 2013 C Garza G Long G Slauson T Bushrod T Webb, Scott, Carimi Huge difference interior wise and on left side. Iam sure this will be much better then prior years and could be solid for many years to come.

Looking at what has been done after the season my top acquisition has been narrowed down to 2 Bushrod and Kasheem(sp?) Greene. I think both are solid players and will make an impact next year and probably take over for Briggs when he is a cap casualty next year.

To get myself to chill with all this 12-4 talk, I took a look at the Bears performance on defense. We're on a pace to give up 408 points. We gave up 277 last year. In fact, only 8 teams last year gave up that many points and guess what... Not one of them was a playoff team. You can sugarcoat this any way you like but if this trend continues, the Bears aren't going anywhere this year. I don't care how good Cutler and Forte turn out to be. The D needs to improve and they can start by getting a little pressure on the opposing QB.
