With 7 career starts......... Proven zero in the NFL. Does that make everyone rethink the hated Cutler contract? It just shows you how hard it is to find a QB and how much you have to pay to get one.

wanted to get everyone's thoughts on this possible trade. On one hand I think about when Graham was with Saints and how dominate he was. Think about an offense with him, Alshon and White. That trio could be insane. How do you stop those three(if white is as good as expected). On the other hand, what is Graham going to look like post injury? Marc Mariani - WR - Bears At least four teams have shown interest in free agent WR Marc Mariani. Chicago is one of those teams. Mariani was forced into a bigger role last year because of injuries to Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal. He managed 22 catches for 300 yards over the course of 535 offensive snaps. Even in a thin wide receiver market, it shouldn't cost the Bears much to keep him.

We are well into the negotiating period for FA and I haven't found any rumors about Trevathan. I scanned all the usual suspects nfl.com, si.com, cbssports, and Walterfootball and there is nothing out there. That is odd for a player who figures to be the top ILB available in FA, especially considering the media circus surrounding the Superbowl winner's free agents. Come up with a trade back scenario based on another team's needs that would net the Bears at least 12 picks. The more complicated the better (as long as it's realistic). Then make your mock with those picks. Where does the NFL get this timeline? Last year between 3 and 5 pm is was announced the Bears signed Eddie Royal and Pernell. What I expect at 3:00 tomorrow: 1. We trade Martellus Bennett. It's probably a done deal but at 3:00 we can make it official. Jimmy Graham would be awesome. But probably a 6th rounder . . . 2. Danny Trevathan becomes official--we have the money and the scheme he wants. 3. Akiem Hicks--I think it's happening 4. Mid level players we haven't considered Between the Bears and Illinois playing at 4:30, I'm going to have a busy afternoon.
