I think the three signing w have so far are going to bring a new attitude to the team...with McPhee saying he is violent and Rolle and Royal being hitters (Rolle) and playmakers (Royal) things are looking up!! Now do we sign the Chiefs Parker...as he has played CB as well as safety and could be that nickelback we need with his 4.3 speed

They both came in for meetings but have not signed yet...... Are they waiting to see if they can get better deals? I really would like to see Royal sign. Rolle from what his stats look like last year can still be productive so I would be happy with him as well. Pot Roast from everything I have read is wanting too much money, hoping the Bears can make it work with him as it opens up what they can do draft day. Any word on Foster at LB??? With the signing of Pernell does that eliminate Brooks from consideration?

So I saw some blurb on NFL Network link (I'm not at home to verify) that the Saints are 'shopping several players including Jimmy Graham". WOW! And as I'm looking at the feed something popped up about the Saints and Seahawks are working a deal as we speak for Graham. NO I DO NOT ENDORSE ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM GOING AFTER GRAHAM!!!! Are there any defensive players worth perusing? EDIT: Wow this moved quick. According to Rappaport the deal is near done. Graham and a 4th to Seattle for Unger (Max I presume?) and a 1st.

Evidently they already have some offers but are working hard to maximize and get more in return. I've said it before and I'll say again, he'll be gone and we'll get more than we expected for him. There is zero QB market out there and it is a weaker QB draft (that said, Its all a freaking crapshoot anyway when it comes to QB's, imo).

Anytime you have needs, tons of names thrown out there by everybody. with McPhee and rookie pool, 14 mil already off the pool 9 that puts us at 18 mil, unless Mcphees contract is structured creatively . I will predict who and why(of course I will be wrong,nature of the beast) Safety- we know the draft is light so we definitely grab one in FA-Searcy/Balt ( young and upside) ILB - we have some players but nobody is a sure thing, we grab one here--Foster/TB (young and upside) CB- this may not be today, all the stupid big contracts will fly today-----Cox/SF DL- this may not be today we have very little in bodies at this position-Adrian Clayborn/T…

I still like him as a prospect to develop. Bucky Brooks has him listed as the 5th best QB prospect but more often I've seen him listed as a 5th or 6th Rd pick.
