Dolphins shopping Wallace. Sounds like it would be too much hassle to trade him but maybe he comes available later as a cut. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000047...-miami-dolphins And Jacoby Jones who adds another dimension as a returner. Of the two I'd much rather see Jones. Better character. http://m.espn.go.com/nfl/story?storyId=123...le.com%2F%22%7D

I was trying to think of outside the box ways to improve our defense and thought of Brown. He's a guy a lot of us wanted (and were surprised the Bears didn't take) over Jon Bostic. He hasn't seen the field much for Baltimore, partially because of injuries and partially because he's behind CJ Mosely and Daryl Smith, but he's had two years to absorb the 3-4 in one of the best places you can learn it. Wonder if it's worth calling Baltimore and offering a future pick whose value is dependent on games started/tackles/whatever. It would be interesting to see a young LB corps with Jones/Bostic/Brown/Young with a stud pass-rusher in the draft, Allen and McClellin in the mix, …

WF just did their post combine mock and gave us... 1R-Shelton 2R-PJ Williams CB 3R- AJ Cann OG 4R- Shane Carden QB Meh... I'd switch it up and go 1R- Beasley OLB- obvious 2R- Shaq ILB- According to WF, teams are putting a 2R grade on him. 3R- Grasu OC- obvious 4R- Ty Montgomery WR- Potential pro bowl returner, with some upside as a WR. Could be a steal. That all coupled with Knighton (Though I bet he follows Del Rio to Oak), Chris Culliver, Rahim Moore, and Jeremy Parnell(OT), and I think we'll be looking at a quick turnaround.

  14. Take it at fast value but was surprised to see that ranking pulled together. He wasn't even rated highly from a receiving perspective (which makes me question the entire rating process PFF put together). He certainly wasn't an elite football player last year. He got a lot of garbage stats and run blocking wasn't good but I can't remember a special move / play he made last season. I like Forte a lot but in a deep RB draft and with Carey on board, the money you free up could help you land 2 starting caliber players (shore up oline / defense).

I cannot wait for the day that we no longer hear about these two. Every time the Bears are brought up, it is the same old same old. Just end it already, cut the ties. Use all the cap space to pay for their dead money and let's play for a #1 overall pick next season. Two drafts in a row with top 7 picks should set us up nicely and ARod will be two years older.

Does anyone have any opinions on the following: (I heard numerous discussions on a few sites and shows thart mention these guys a few times...) Fill in our need for speed 1. WR Justin Hardy - fast, small, but good after catch and good seperation 2. WR Dez Lewis - fast Pass Rushers 3. DE Shane Ray - edge rusher 4. OLB Dante Fowler QB 5. Blake Sims - late round diamond in rough?

That means if Bears wanted to completely unload Cutler (basically cut him), it shouldn't be an issue as it would be astonishing if he didn't get a contract worth $15M (that would literally be impossible). I think it is much more likely than any of us previously thought that Cutler is moved sooner vs. later. I still think the ideal scenario has us getting a pick for him. Teams will be desperate and to be frank, we are selling Jay at his lowest value, but understand if the org wants to make a change. I just wish it was in a year where there were more attractive QB options available.

  20. 1. Can they restructure his deal making it more cap friendly? Or should I say ask him to take a pay cut and then make the contract more incentive based??? 2. Is this their way of putting it out there that he is on the trading blocks??? 3. Could they be making their decision to cut him or keep him? Pace and Fox may just say freak it and cut him opening up money next year and eating it now. If you didn't hear it or see it, Jay Gruden came out and said RG3 is their starting QB next season. Fox and Pace went the complete other way with their press conference. I wonder if their dinner with McCown was a little bit of a Cutler research meeting. Who bette…
