Per Jayson Braddock on Twitter. Bears have called, as have Eagles. Surely we would have to throw something else in in a Kaep for Cutler trade?

  2. I hope we aren't about to give him big money. He wasn't really all that great last year. If this is more just bringing a stabilizing veteran who can help teach some young safeties while we clean house, fine, but lets not tie a bunch of money up in Rolle. We should be aiming higher, imo.

It is pretty funny when they talk about a drop in production, but the guy had half as many targets as he had the two years prior. So of course his receptions and yardage would be down. Every WR on Miami had a down year (maybe the QB's fault or the game plan?). Funny that they cut Hartline and Gibson, are looking to trade Wallace but are keeping Jarvis Landry and his 9.0 yds/rec which is less than their TEs (Clay/Sims). Hartline seems like a durable possession guy.

The spokesman for the league Greg Aiello released a statement condenming the flood of media leaks about signings and has threatened to investigate thses leaks. Really! Your league is over taking 2 leagues currently in season and one in preseason for buzz with March Madness on the horizon and you're going to investigate what? This was nothing more than rhetoric.

Bennett couldn't convince his brother, but could Long? The Rams just cut their Long...that would be a good get IMHO.

Ian Rapoport ‏@RapSheet 12m12 minutes ago The #Browns assigned free safety Tashaun Gipson a second-round RFA tender. With a shallow draft pool, wonder if someone will bite. Wouldn't mind seeing the Bears bite one bit. Still just 24 years old he'd only be a couple years older than what our 2nd rounder would be, and he's already established himself as a top 5 safety. Injury is a bit of a concern though.

Though I'm reluctantly excepting the switch to a 3/4 since there really is nothing I can do about it except whine, Emery's guaranteed money to Allen,Houston and Young is going to handicap this team when it comes to producing more D-linemen for this scheme. This combined with whatever money is going to the young draft choices makes me wonder how much money do you tie up on a DL?

Watt, Rob Gronkowski), Suh and Odell Beckham are the two unique talents around whom we would most like to build a franchise. A double-team defeater against the run as well as the pass, Suh is on a Hall-of-Fame career path. Suh is likely to hit free agency after the Lions chose not to use the franchise tag on him. 2. Devin McCourty, S, New England Patriots: The converted cornerback is not only one of the NFL's best coverage safeties, but also a respected leader on the Super Bo…

https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/574632313893449728 I would hope that if we wanted him, we would have a leg up considering Fox (assuming he liked Fox). Oakland has the money, Indy has the best chance for winning now, and Washington is where good players go to lose.

Many of the big names will be resigned with their old teams(home is there-friends) history tells us that Many will be priced out of our price range Pace is so secretive, we have no idea what his plan is, Marshall was the first move, bold with giving up on a pro bowl type WR Our needs are everything and I think we address every need so we can take BPA in the draft S McCourty is the gem, may be out of our price range at 10 mil a year Moore is probably considered next and at a mid level price will have many suitors Searcy is a good name and could be a possible target (bargain) Ron Parker/KC last year he played well after starting because of inj…

I don't know if anyone listened to the Slauson interview, but it was pretty good (link below). He said he was impressed with Pace and his vision, talked with Coach Fox about accountability (wants to be held accountable as professional athletes, doesn't want gray area, wants black and white, and that is what Fox is all about). He was asked about Long moving to LT, and just said we need him on the field. He said Forte is an every down back. On Marshall, he said he didn't know a whole lot about personnel decisions, so he couldn't say that he was surprised or not; but Brandon is a great player and will be missed on this team. This seemed like a really odd answer a…

  20. Today I've heard a ton of talk about how the Bears could be targeting Suh. He'll get at least a 100+ million contract with 60 guaranteed and become the richest defensive player in NFL history. What are your thoughts on this?My thoughts: 1. I was really skeptical when we signed Peppers to that huge deal because he had like 1 sack the previous season. That turned out to be a great signing. Could Suh have a similar impact? 2. How much is DT a need? Lamar Houston, when healthy, will project inside in a 3-4. Jay Ratliff, Fergoson, Sutton . . . that's not a bad group when I don't know how any of our DE's will convert, we have no proven linebackers, and we are incred…
