Just when I get excited about not seeing Suh anymore, we have to face Ngata twice a year. Gonna be tough to root against him.

Evidently they already have some offers but are working hard to maximize and get more in return. I've said it before and I'll say again, he'll be gone and we'll get more than we expected for him. There is zero QB market out there and it is a weaker QB draft (that said, Its all a freaking crapshoot anyway when it comes to QB's, imo).

Anytime you have needs, tons of names thrown out there by everybody. with McPhee and rookie pool, 14 mil already off the pool 9 that puts us at 18 mil, unless Mcphees contract is structured creatively . I will predict who and why(of course I will be wrong, nature of the beast) Safety- we know the draft is light so we definitely grab one in FA-Searcy/Balt ( young and upside) ILB - we have some players but nobody is a sure thing, we grab one here--Foster/TB (young and upside) CB- this may not be today, all the stupid big contracts will fly today-----Cox/SF DL- this may not be today we have very little in bodies at this position-Adrian Clayborn/T…

Interest? If only he could cut down on his penalties... He's physical no doubt. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...to-rework-deal/

I still like him as a prospect to develop. Bucky Brooks has him listed as the 5th best QB prospect but more often I've seen him listed as a 5th or 6th Rd pick. I think he'll go earlier than that. http://www.nfl.com/now/share?id=b8a84934-a...d1-138c9ee5f566 http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/players...84/sean-mannion

Per Jayson Braddock on Twitter. Bears have called, as have Eagles. Surely we would have to throw something else in in a Kaep for Cutler trade?

I hope we aren't about to give him big money. He wasn't really all that great last year. If this is more just bringing a stabilizing veteran who can help teach some young safeties while we clean house, fine, but lets not tie a bunch of money up in Rolle. We should be aiming higher, imo.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2015/...h-stephen-paea/ Had a great contract year with us and wish him the best of luck. Too bad he couldn't have put it together sooner.

It is pretty funny when they talk about a drop in production, but the guy had half as many targets as he had the two years prior. So of course his receptions and yardage would be down. Every WR on Miami had a down year (maybe the QB's fault or the game plan?). Funny that they cut Hartline and Gibson, are looking to trade Wallace but are keeping Jarvis Landry and his 9.0 yds/rec which is less than their TEs (Clay/Sims). Hartline seems like a durable possession guy.

The spokesman for the league Greg Aiello released a statement condenming the flood of media leaks about signings and has threatened to investigate thses leaks. Really! Your league is over taking 2 leagues currently in season and one in preseason for buzz with March Madness on the horizon and you're going to investigate what? This was nothing more than rhetoric.

Bennett couldn't convince his brother, but could Long? The Rams just cut their Long...that would be a good get IMHO.

Ian Rapoport @RapSheet 12m12 minutes ago The #Browns assigned free safety Tashaun Gipson a second-round RFA tender. With a shallow draft pool, wonder if someone will bite. Wouldn't mind seeing the Bears bite one bit. Still just 24 years old he'd only be a couple years older than what our 2nd rounder would be, and he's already established himself as a top 5 safety. Injury is a bit of a concern though.

Though I'm reluctantly excepting the switch to a 3/4 since there really is nothing I can do about it except whine, Emery's guaranteed money to Allen,Houston and Young is going to handicap this team when it comes to producing more D-linemen for this scheme. This combined with whatever money is going to the young draft choices makes me wonder how much money do you tie up on a DL?

http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap300000047...agents-for-2015 Tier 1: Difference-makers 1. Ndamukong Suh, DT, Detroit Lions: Outside of quarterbacks and the two unanimous All-Pros (J.J. Watt, Rob Gronkowski), Suh and Odell Beckham are the two unique talents around whom we would most like to build a franchise. A double-team defeater against the run as well as the pass, Suh is on a Hall-of-Fame career path. Suh is likely to hit free agency after the Lions chose not to use the franchise tag on him. 2. Devin McCourty, S, New England Patriots: The converted cornerback is not only one of the NFL's best coverage safeties, but also a respected leader on the Super Bo…

https://twitter.com/JosinaAnderson/status/574632313893449728 I would hope that if we wanted him, we would have a leg up considering Fox (assuming he liked Fox). Oakland has the money, Indy has the best chance for winning now, and Washington is where good players go to lose.
