We still can get a DT we would have liked if they took him in the first round left on the board. Top DTs left Jerrinigan Nix Hageman Truitt Quarles Sutton Anthony Johnson. We are going to get a good player in the second round at a position of need. Dont sleep on Ego Ferguson either or Jones from PSU. We will grab a good player there. If we get Jerrigan, Nix or Hageman, we did good in this draft no matter who else we draft.

He says that when he watched Nix on film he seemed to be on the ground too much. That is a big no no to DL coaches because they feel you can't make a play on the ground.

Supposedly the Chiefs are floating Eric Berry out there for a 2R pick. More than just a few websites are reporting this, but none of them are really mainstream websites. Because of that I'm not really buying it. Also the fact that the Chiefs seemingly don't have an option behind him is another reason to question things. But in the off chance it's true I'd absolutely love for the Bears to make it happen. Hekk I'd give em a 2nd rounder next year too.

Any pick, any round, what would make you mad, either if the Bears picked them or passed on them (assuming they are available)? At this point, if Donald, Pryor, or Clinton-Dix are there at #14 and the Bears don't take one of them I will be mad. I would reserve the right to be retroactively OK with it depending on the pick (Dennard, Gilbert, or Mosely) how the rest of the draft shakes out, but in the moment, I would not be happy.

Going into this draft I think about Emery+Trestman vs. Angelo+Lovie. If it were still Angelo and Lovie, I'd wonder a few things: 1) Would Lovie be making all the picks but one like usual? 2) Would he be ignoring his scouts and overall team needs to placate a coach? 3) Which pool-jumping dickhead is on his radar? 4) Which small school DB are they enamored with? With Emery and Trestman, I don't feel like that. I feel like they've done their due diligence and are going to draft the BPA at position of need unless BPA is too ridiculous to pass.
