For the draftniks out there I thought this might be worth reading. The article breaks down performance trends versus draft position. I like how Emery is filling out this roster. He didn't bite on restructuring veterans to make more cap space. He is following a plan even though us as fans want the right now satisfaction. By this time next year, we will have at least 7 picks to load up and our cap situation should be healthy were we can continue to add or sign our own. LB is a position we were in desperate need of. Williams and Anderson are on one year contracts and Briggs is getting up there in age. I called for Ogletree/Brown in my last mock, we couldve went that route.
