Not saying they are the same or he is as good, but Nall has vision and sneaky speed. I think he will become a weapon for the Bears. I am surprised he wasn't drafted and glad he chose us. He must have seen the fit also. Below is a clip of him in action.

Pace is on fire this offseason. It is hard to think of another team that has literally addressed a major need with a solid to great player without breaking the bank with every acquisition or signing. Just look at some of the other contracts handed out. If we can now add some depth in the secondary, I think we are set going into the draft. Maybe Robinson and Bruton, and re-sign Miller. Do we really have a strong need at any other positions?

Pace has taken a lot of flack for his first round picks since he has been here but I still think he has did a good job of developing a core of good players going forward. I heard one interview from a former GM talk about Pace and that the draft is only one part of the over all picture in building a franchise and he thinks he as did a good job. This years draft could have potentially brought us our Franchise QB that is still yet to be determined but the arrow is pointing up. Swope had to retire due to past concussions. Almost everyone here, including myself, wanted him in the 4th, 5th, and 6th round. Glad we dodged that bullet. Lots of rumors out there connecting him to the Bears. Anyone reading anything that suggests it’s more than just internet speculation?

Cardinals are in desperate need of running back with this injury to the Cards RB Ryan Williams. We have 2 too many RBs right now and this would make good place to send C Taylor. Get a 5th for him would be good, or 6 and 7. What ya think?

How many fewer sacks can we expect to see in 2025? New coaches, new scheme, revamped O-Line and 2 shiny new weapons. So Williams led the NFL in sacks last year with 68 on 562 passing attempts, which was the highest sack total since David Carr's 68 in 2005. At first I thought, ok, if he can drop by 20%, that would be solid. That would be 14 fewer sacks for a total of 54. That would've still led the league last season without Williams' 68. So it needs to be lower. So the next number is 33%, can he cut his sacks down by a third, so can he cut 23 sacks to go to 45? That would still be top 10 in sacks, but less than Burrow, Darnold, and Daniels. That seems a l…

Killing time watching some video of safeties and figured I'd share my thoughts. Collins of course is a good player just don't think he's worthy of a top 10 pick. If we pick a safety I don't think it will happen until Rd 3 at the earliest and likely on day 3. I just watch some games on Draft Breakdown and read profiles. I'm off the Damarius Randall (ASU) bandwagon. He has good athleticism and coverage skills but he's soft and misses too many tackles. The number one skill I want from a safety is the ability to tackle. Mike Brown was slow but you knew if it was just him back there he'd make the tackle. Jacquiski Tartt…Samford. I need some feedback from our resident draft gurus. I did a bit of research on safeties in the draft and was surprised to see what appears to be a very thin group this year in terms of talent. I favor the draft analysis at the links below because their player profiles seem to be very accurate when guys get to the next level. If these guys are right, there are a couple prospects at the top and then the drop off is very rapid to day 3. There just doesn't seem to be a lot to choose from between Rd 2/3. This does not seem to be the right year to be going into a draft needing help at both safety positions. Maybe that's why we threw so many bodies at the SS position. …
